  1. he said it still had to get approved by Apple. i'm guessing that approval is not instantaneous.
  2. good, it's been so long I would need a E-6B refresher...
  3. holy shit you ain't joking. I didn't truly understand all the variables in properly filling out a 781 until I upgraded to AC, and it's obvious and apparent neither did the 1 Chucks. I've found some pretty glaring errors in my flight time up to the point I upgraded. NVG time vs night time (the former but not the latter getting logged on a give sortie), NVG time getting logged with Other time, etc. Glad I'm taking the time now to covert my crappy flight records and correct those errors, though it is tedious.
  4. just signed up for the MCI at the local testing location, and am using Sheppard Air for test prep. Will I need to scrounge up a flight computer/calculator/E-6B/etc for the actual test or will the sheppard air test prep cover that, too?
  5. The PT test thing started back in 2009 at BAF. Sad to hear it continued through multiple changes in leadership.
  6. It would be more credible if you could at least get the CSAF's name right.
  7. the email floating around DM says it's related to BAH. They're doing an audit for those claiming "w/dependent" to make sure they're getting what they should be getting.
  8. the same as you get anyone else's email addy: the GAL.
  9. thread bump. Wondering if anyone uses LogTen Pro, and if it's worth the $99 purchase price? Or should I just go with an excel logbook? If the latter is the recommendation, please point me to a good excel product so I don't have to reinvent the wheel. Thanks!
  10. you ruined the fun, thanks.
  11. did you check vMPF to see if you have a DOS of 31 Jul 14?
  12. there's a rumor floating around on FB that the SNCO TERA first batch may be done, and to check to see if you have a Date of Separation loaded in vMPF as that may be an early indicator.
  13. I miss the camo paint scheme. And what are those things above the center windscreen?
  14. I was in Anaheim last week for Heli-Expo, and made sure to find a Coco Ichibanya for a meal. The entire experience was just as I remember in Japan. Too bad they don't sell curry packets, though I was able to score some of the delicious sesame dressing.
  15. every plane should have an affordable new cock.
  16. the next time I hear "sausage" or "convoy" I'm going to break something. Why is it the USAF seems to be the only service that uses Joint Brevity?
  17. Sounds like he was drunk, out after curfew, got in a fight... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. yes. Another tough read.
  19. you are only required to check once, so the originial non-a is valid. You technically don't even need an actual non-a slip, an MFR will suffice, according to the JFTR. I don't have the para handy, but it's definitely quoted elsewhere in this thread.
  20. Gen Welsh's FB page has this and a bunch of photos in the same vein posted. I'm sure Tony got it from there.
  21. black socks or white?
  22. clear your cache?
  23. I've not had any of these issues. I accessed webmail as recently as last night with no issues. My base is on the Andrews server if that makes a difference.
  24. nope, doesn't get lost, because Finance Guy is awesome and answers in a timely manner, like he just did on someone else's post. There's a rule about not starting new threads if there's already one in existance.
