ADSC has only been 10 years for those who came on active duty in 2000 or later and attended pilot training. Navs and ABMs don't have the same ADSC. Plus there's a program called Palace Chase.

for a TDY enroute, you get BAH for your previous location while banking TDY pay for the current TDY. I'm not sure if they will "start" BAH for you at your UPT base when you leave. My guess is probably no.

it's funny how multiple airframes consider themselves to be the red-headed step children of the AF...your sentiment above almost exactly describes CSAR, as well. They can't decide what MAJCOM they want us in, the MAJCOM can't decide what mission sets we can perform, Congress is having heartburn over the replacement airframe...

yeah, that's what I'm doing now, and it works like a champ. I just leave that extra tab open while I'm browsing the forums and if someone else joins the room, it makes a ding dong sound to notify me. So far only two people have chatted with me (at least while I've been online).

as long as your SURF/PRF shows it's done prior to Spring 2012 (you said your board was in 2012), then that's good enough. You want your wing leadership to know you've checked both those boxes so that you get a DP leaving the wing.

I know a guy who travelled to/from his TDY in a Cessna, along with someone else. Finance tried to not reimburse the pax on the grounds of him not having a PPL, which was total BS. It was his mode of transportation so finally they saw the light...
