From looking at the posted definition on the SCL, and the initial requirement to be able to conduct an OGE hover at 6000'/35ยบ with 2500 lbs of fuel departing the zone (based on current fuel flow numbers of 1200 lbs/hr by my math), they're at least throwing out realistic scenarios. Do these numbers automatically exclude certain airframes due to not being able to meet the stated performance parameters?
Of course, as clearly stated, the above is just a "feeler," not an actual RFP.
