So if you were engaging in this kind of fraud on behalf of the Democratic party...why wouldn't you tip a few house and senate seats in your favor as well? Seems to me that is the single biggest argument against voter fraud...if they had the ability to influence elections on this scale, why would they not take a filibuster-proof majority in the house and take control of the senate while they are at it?

Bingo. It requires admitting to Congress that you do not, in fact, have everything under control. Might even require *GASP* admitting there are other aircrew members besides just pilots.

I'm surprised that all the people saying "the virus isn't a big deal" and "99% of people who get it survive" are reluctant to get a vaccine. I mean...the other additives are basically the same as for the flu shot or MMR vaccine. So the only novel part is the Covid-19...which is really survivable for anyone who is relatively young and in good health. But then...there's a pretty big overlap in the population that believes masks infringe on their personal freedom and the anit-vax, "I never get a flu shot because you just get the flu anyway" crowd. I'll be first in line for a Covid-19 vaccine if it means seeing my extended family on holidays again, having live sports and concerts, having in-person parties and group events, etc... The flu shot also needs refrigeration...yet we somehow manage to distribute that to millions of people every year. Refrigeration is not an insurmountable obstacle...Hell, it's not even a difficult obstacle.

Depends on the role. We've all seen the shit-hot patch who is the pinnacle of tactical knowledge but couldn't spell "OPR" with a dictionary on their desk. At some point, you need the ability to rely on other folks expertise and you need the ability to navigate the bureaucracy.

And not only did they orchestrate such a complex conspiracy...they covered it up by losing seats in the House and failing to capture a majority in the Senate. Really masterful...someone with less experience would have used that voter fraud to tip the legislature in their direction as well, but Soros is a real mastermind... Blanket /s for anyone who even remotely believes this tinfoil hat nonsense. Trump lost...pack it in, try again in 2024. I'm no fan of Biden, but this shit is just getting embarassing.

So if you can be reinfected, and getting the disease doesn't create antibodies... How would a vaccine work?

Only in the hyperpartisan environment of 2020 would Trump be considered conservative.

Second the Garmins. My Tactix Charlie is phenomenal...love it. Also...booze is always welcome.

Unfortunately, you'll have a hard time proving that is the case if the contractor's name isn't on any performance reports or promotion recommendations.

I have not gotten started on AWC. Not sure if I'm going to...retiring as an O-5 is perfectly fine for me. Not sure I see much point in it...Might hold on to that card to play when I'm in a higher OPSTEMPO job. "Sorry boss, I can't do X, Y, and Z, I'm really swamped with AWC right now..."

I don't think he's trying to get promoted. He's just trying to sign continuation paperwork so he isn't forced to separate in April/May (180 days after the board results).

Part of the problem is that it's difficult to know what will work 50 years from now. Do you think engineers in the 70s had any inkling how dependent we would be on GPS, internet, VOIP phones, email, and Link-16? How do you expect to write a Mil-STD that will still work in 2070?

You are aware that even low-skill employers like Walmart or McDonald's have people who are making different amounts of money, right? That not every employee is making minimum wage, and that not every employee is making the same amount as every other employee? It would be quite feasible for a company with the kind of pricing power you are suggesting to hire 100 people at $5/hr and then 100 more at $8/hr. Where are the people willing to settle for $5/hr going to go if they are unhappy with the fact their counterparts make more than them?

If it's a return to Obama-era foreign policy, I'm not sure how you could afford to make cuts to the military. For a guy who was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, Obama sure did like to commit the US to new conflicts.

Yep. We're seeing the same thing in the B-1 community. No more deployments to AFCENT means new guys have very limited ability to build hours in the aircraft. When you're only flying 3-4 times a month, 3.0-4.0 each...that means you're looking at ~5 years to get to 1000 hours. But we can't afford to wait that long to make new instructors. So we substitute sims, we lower the entry requirements in upgrade programs, and make the overall squadrons younger, and less experienced, even though the LOX still lists the same number of "experienced" instructors.

I've seen some of my friends float increasingly nutty theories that the GOP and DNC cut a deal to get rid of Trump. I don't believe those theories at all. I think Trump just lost a close race. But that is the retort the hardcore Trumpers have floated...that the GOP cut a deal to look the other way on voter fraud for the president if they could retain the senate.

Amnesty for illegal immigrants would be my pick if I were running the party. Trade border security for a path to legalization for anyone already here. Carve out restrictions for people with convictions for violent crime. Pair it with an immigration system that makes it faster, cheaper, and easier to enter the US legally, instead of the years-long bureaucratic nightmare we have now. I'd probably also concede the abortion thing. Roe V Wade was, what, 50 years ago? That law is settled. Stop alienating new people by continuing to attack it. Attack the funding, sure...but stop trying to stuff the genie back in the bottle. It's not going to happen.

It's a sad state of affairs that I can't tell who you are voting for based on this statement. Could be either candidate.

I'm not sure how you'd distinguish them if you want to argue that these are social constructs within the animal kingdom.

I'm a fan of Dan Crenshaw, but I understand there are many who aren't. I also like Tammy Duckworth, even though I don't share her political views. I absolutely think she fights for what she believes in and she's there to make the country better. We just have different ideas of how to do it. -

Seems like India and China are doing fine sabotaging that relationship themselves. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-53062484#:~:text=In August%2C India accused China,of firing into the air. -
Mandatory fun? We watched it as part of a class when I went through OTS. I am happy to see it still has a place in the curriculum, though.
