Lets see, 238 combat hours (not 240 or 230… 238) during Operations DESERT SHIELD, DESERT STORM, SOUTHERN WATCH and ENDURING FREEDOM. DESERT SHEILD: All combat time orbiting with his thumb up his ass. DESERT STORM: In nearly six weeks of air strikes we only destroyed two T-72 tanks in one unit of the Iraqi 12 Armored Division. The 2nd Armored Cavalry destroyed the remaining thirty-seven armored vehicles in less than six minutes! Guess if he killed both of them himself, he may have killed 6 guys. Other than that he was dropping bombs on a bunch of GP vehicles fleeing Kuwait. Might as well go club some baby seals. SOUTHERN WATCH: All combat time orbiting with his thumb up his ass. ENDURING FREEDOM: He was an F-15E SQ/CC for 7 months of OEF, doubt he spent all 7 months logging combat sorties. After that it was school, staff AETC ect. Not impressed. C-17s RULE!

It has nothing to do with money. The AF can't have scores of people quitting when they don't get what they want. That is why the commitment kicks in at the beginning of 300. The AF does a terrible job of managing personnel, having a bunch of people who were programmed to come into the system quit because they didn't like what they got would cripple and already screwed up system. If you want to be guaranteed a chance to fly, get rich and buy your own airplane.

I'm actually gonna say you are a dumbass: There is nothing cool about this place. 1. There are not a TON of people there are people there that weigh a TON. 2. Yes there are, and no it doesn't. 3. The only people that pull their weight are the ones that weigh a TON pulling their weight to the DFAC. I have plenty to hurry home to.

Oh, so you want to get all technical on me and ask me to provide useful information.... If you have to do online and online only, have at it, but stock up on plenty of anal lubricant. You will need it. Now if you want something more than that you need to provide more info: 1. How long do you have to get your degree? 2. How many assignments do you plan to have between now and then? 3. What USAF equivalent classes can you take and get credit? I started my masters in 03 finished in 08. Got credit for 5 classes by doing SOS, ACSC and Safety school took one class online and the rest at the 2 bases I was assigned at during that time.

Nope I only took ASCI 613 Airport Operations Safety online. Never took 516. The only thing that can be good about online is all the paper you write durring the class can be combined into your final paper for that class. 5t is like they force you to start it early.

Online courses have sometimes been compared to sucking a huge donkey dick. I did my masters through ERAU and only took one online course, I wish I had taken zero. If you have to take one you have to, suck it up (the donkey dick). Yes, you have a paper due every week, the class cost more and takes longer. The pain is not worth it. I would rather eat glass, or spent the weekend discussing politics with Vertigo and CAVEMAN. Just my .02 dollars.

Heard something interesting at a commanders call yesterday. The Commander (3 Star) was commenting on the CSAF article on the F-22. Basically he stated that the AF needs to save money now to afford things in the future (well no shit), but to do that we need to accept the risk of not being able to fight the next war. His claim was that the SEECDEF has assessed that risk of a MTW and decided to accept said risk. I am not sure if this was just the commander’s opinion or if this was a Pentagon approved/mandated message.
