  1. I think you misunderstood him... I am sure he meant no male strippers.
  2. Well, SHIT. Looks like I get a fail! Maker's Mark it is.
  3. ADDED: 327.1 If you can't figure out that the current day starts at 0000 without adding a minute, or fraction of a minute, you are a dumbass and should in no way be associated with any type of military operation that requires you to use, tell, or in a any other way interpret time. I think I will just take CH’s advice!
  4. I have, they look at it like a Hog looking at a wrist watch... Then when you force them to put it in the system and they see it works, they look like a caveman seeing fire for the first time.
  5. I don't think you can do it for a TDY.

    Gun Talk

I have flow with a gun several times. No ammunition at all. You have to buy or borrow some when you arrive. Might be hard to buy right now. You can carry a personal handgun in your car in any state unloaded in a locked case. Why because the only way they can find it is with a search warrant. They are unlikely to get that if you do not kill anyone with said gun. Still would not bring the gun to NY though, they are A-Holes.
  7. It's 10:00 AM.
  8. Why does DOD continue to insist on starting operations 1 minute after midnight? Everything thing I see is 0001. Do we magically skip a minute every night and I have been missing this al along? So I ask the question and these are the answers I received. 1. 0000 is not a valid time. 2. 2400 is midnight not 0000. 3. The computer does not understand 0000 4. 0000 confuses people. Everyone, look at your digital watch. 1 second after 2359 and 59 seconds, the watch will read 0000 not 0001. Since we live in a post Y2K world, computers do understand 0000. Make the madness stop. Insist on using 0000.
  9. OK, I have received CZTE when I was paid my bonus 3 times. You can only have $7368.30 Tax exempted every month. Meaning if you are a Major with 12yrs service + Flt Pay+HFP you get 6,325.50+650+250 = 7225.50 So, 7368.30-7225.50 = 142.80 So, 24857.2 is taxed at the max rate ~35% can't remember off the top of my head and 142.8 is tax free. I have seen this on my LES several times. The trick is get lots of months tax free >9 and you will get it all back in the end.
  10. WTF Dude? Did you mom just catch you jerking off in the laundry room? I have seen all 2 of your incredibly ridiculous and mindless posts. You are either trolling, or you are the world's greatest douchetard. Either way, go play somewhere else.
  11. Well, we do. (SOLL II, Charleston) Make sure you know what you are talking about before you speak. You won’t sound so fucking stupid that way.
  12. Wana know what I need? More Cowbell!
  13. Have to disagree on a few: Not necessarily. In a helicopter at an LZ where you fight your way in and out, Yes. C-17/130 landing and a mortar happens to hit nearby or some sees a tracer in the distance.. NO. If you are in an aircraft that a MANPAS has a reasonable chance of killing you maybe. Flying into a location where the chance of being engaged is greater than 90%, Yes. In a C-17 where a MANPADS hit was mistaken for a catastrophic engine failure, NO. Absolutely not. When this Medal was created it was clearly stated that being in the wrong place and the wrong time was not sufficient to meet the criteria. You need to be engaged in combat to receive this medal. A chance hit from a MANPADS or sitting in a chow hall and being hit by indirect fire does not constitute being engaged in combat.
  14. UXOs???? I think you mean EOD. The flyers that should be excluded are the fags that try to get one because the saw a flash of light out of the corner of their eye when they were on final. “Oh, tower told us some shot an RPG at us when we were on final”. Great, I once had a tower controller tell me I was on fire, turns out I wasn’t. Don’t believe everything someone tells you, including me!
  15. I think the 52 may be the last one. AMC years ago paid to have them installed in the 135, but ACC never came up with the money for the 52. Not sure if the T-38 or U-2 has one or not.
  16. I found Lt Dan's legs!
  17. Probably won't work since that is not what he is trying to do. He is trying to get all three, not turn one into another. I think they are confused about the “Period of service” thing. That really means you can’t use the same deployment to get 2, i.e deployed 120 days to Iraq you don’t get GWOT-E and ICM, you get one or the other. Now that I think about it, this did come up, and CENTAF (not AMC) said at the time to go by MSN numbers (the 12 digit number thingy) for airlift aircraft. Each MSN number was considered a separate period of service.
  18. Why does the TSgt have someone sleeping on him?
  19. May be hard to do now because they know who you are and they know you complained about it, but try turning them in separately. They are not going to go back and find the paperwork for a previous award and compare it. They are shoeclereks, the have a certain element of laziness. I never knew that "service period" was a problem, but I turned all of mine in separately.
  20. Dude, Classic is so we can find this shit when it gets old! The De Motivation nudie poster thread will never get get old.
  21. Yea, but then think of all the fun we would miss out on. Where is Toro in all this?
  22. Jesus Christ! I have Gators and Canes all over my case today! Work kept me busy today, I only had enough free time to run my virtual mouth in the C-17 mishap thread. 'AFROTC', as a Det 145 alum I have to uphold the Seminole traditions hear and put the beat down on the canes and gators whenever possible. You are not making it easy for me. The shit storm you have walked into was caused by you failure to use the search function or even look around the forums for a few minutes to find the answers you seek. The question you asked has been discussed at length in a number of threads... I could post the links here for you but I am drunk, tired, and pissed off... not from poker this time but work related stress that being in a Joint Staff billet usually brings. However, we are glad to choose Baseops.net to answer your questions. Now, walk, don't drive, over to the Tully gym and hit yourself in head with a 35lb dumb bell repeatedly, go back to your room and post some hot FSU chicks in the De Motivational Poster Contest! thread and all will be forgiven! That actually happened to me!
  23. From the crap you post here, it is obvious you need one.
  24. ZARDOZ, classic.
