Yes, the C-21 will be around for a while. They just cut the fleet in half and sent a lot of them to the guard. The shut down a lot of the AD C-21 units, but there are still plenty left. C-Springs, Offutt, Andrews, Scott, Ramstein... can't remember the others. Yokota did lose their C-21s. As well as Randolph and Langley

To tell you the truth there is no absolute answer to any of these questions. I have seen the AF really screw some people over in my time and I have seen them really bend over backwards to help... I am AD married to traditional AFRC that works for Boeing. I have been at McChord for three years, so to prevent being handed another three year assignment to somewhere else I have volunteered for a short tour with a return to McChord. Not the best option in the world but it gets us back living in the same zip code quicker than any other option. So, here is what I can tell you from my experience.. 1. If you are not married the AF does not care! 2. If you get married after you have PCSed, don't hold your breath thinking they will let you go early... However, I have seen it happen in rare cases. 3. If your Reserve or Guard unit it at or near an AD base you may be in luck... for 3-4 years. 4. Depending on you AFRC unit you may be able to move to another AFRC unit when your spouse PSCs. 5. It is the typical AF cycle... Someone needs an OPR bullet so they change things back to the way they were. This is the way they used to do business, if they do change it, give it ten years and they will change it back again. The are good and bad things about putting MX in the OG.

I am with you! I have been in C-17s since early 02 and I have seen and heard some whoppers. Had a copilot who was convinced they were shot at be a sniper.... WTF? How do you know you were shot at by a sniper? I asked.... We saw a single tracer go by our windscreen... OK, let me get this straight you saw a flash go by you window, at night while on NVGs....Answer: Yes... any chance that was bird that was light up by you IR landing lights and you are just hoping you were shot at so you have a story to tell??? Answer: None, just a puzzled look. BTW... snipers don't uses tracers retard... it defeats the purpose. This kind of stuff happens all the time in my community, guys sit there glued to the window looking for any flash of light they can find... I am a big fan of "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit" myself... Now where do I begin?? If she was raped, the AF would have had a field day with it! They would have scoured the earth for whoever did it and arrested anyone he ever talked to for safe measure. They would have been public about it too! Absolute silence is reserved for cases of favoritism and cover-ups. “Refused medical exam”…. I don’t think so. If you have been missing for three days and turn up saying you were kidnapped, you get a full work up. Try wreaking one of Uncle Sam’s airplanes someday and see if you get to refuse a medical exam….
