This would def be a nice tool to have for (quickly &accurately) planning max load in/out of an LZ during mission planning instead of at the airplane.

Fellas, I'm familiar with the incident that prosuper was talking about and he simply misspoke. It was a gear up landing, on the belly of the jet not a belly up landing. The dude that did it was still teaching -38's in the 5th when I left Vance a while back. Edited to correct iPad auto correct buffoonery.

Brother the best thing you can do is work hard. Keep your grades up, do well on the fitness test and approach things with a humble attitude. Your cadre will likely want to get to know you since you'll be "competing" with folks they already know for field training, career fields, etc. When they do, be honest about your goals but dont be the pilot or nothing kid. Show them you are willing to work and be a team player and things will be fine.

Never hurts to ask. They may not be able to predict a few weeks out, but they can definitely give you their current occupancy rate and you can make a better decision based on that.

Champ shacked it... Your strats as a Capt definitely count. These strats drive your DT vector and your push lines as a Maj are consistent with your vector 99% of the time.

They most definitely had the right to be offended by integration. It's acting out on those beliefs in a discriminatory way that crosses the line. Like the man said, equal rights is a two way street and people seem to forget that. If you want to be gay have at it, but I don't have to like it nor should I be forced to "see" it. Kinda like non-Christians being offended by Christmas trees, crosses, etc and getting those items removed from public areas.

I agree with jaded, don't specifically name the operation but you can def include bullets from it but I would use something like OCO in its place.

We herk guys are the worst, we like to tell our life stories every time we key the mic. But nothing is worse than a clear, concise and correct radio call to ATC or 2 and getting "say again" in return, only to restate the call or having to explain the brevity that you used.

The way to handle this is just like everybody has said. Get a non-a or document it yourself and don't interact with lodging again. Don't get upset and make a scene or give them reason to "punish" you for being a jerk. If you are worried about a cc ordering you back on base then go the route of an MFR and don't ever mention your squadron to lodging.
