While I agree with you generally, their training has definitely improved over the years. We shot often and had a great relationship with CATM folks, to include having an assigned CATM in our community so we were often out there for their shoots. It went from laughable to more shoot and move and different situations rather than old school static weaver stance blasting 🙂 Bottom line, if they aren't shooting on their own time, they aren't going to be 'good'.

They should have never got to that point. The aircraft was telling them something was wrong for a long time. Way before it should have gotten to a land immediately. They skipped over multiple 'as practical' and 'possibles'.

Really, wasn't aware. Thanks. Which do you think is more logical? A 1,000 plus mile sortie like you said for a time sensitive target or a planted bomb. Could be either but I'm leaning towards a planted bomb. Never said your version isn't possible.

One hell of an air launched munition. Not saying its impossible but more probable that a placed explosive was used. Just based off the timing needed.
