  1. In my crew chief dasy, at PSAB we had a weapons troop caught carving his initials + his girlfriends initials into the 9's rocket motors.....
  2. Wild
  3. Can you imagine. Mexico and south american countries continually flood America with fighting age males...... oh wait 🙂
  4. You f'n piece of shit. It's 'little people'
  5. Yup. Big difference between doing it out on the range or MOA versus doing it within 1/4 mile of a couple thousand people watching on the flightline.
  6. Shack. I'm sure this is very common for dispatchers to handle.....Lady has spent all morning talking to hundreds of people with colds, too fat, heart attacks and so forth. Comprehending that "there is a pilot in my house" to "I just ejected" is nuts. Cut her some slack. If she doesn't ask those questions she probably gets 10 demerits. To top it off, nothing is being delayed with her questions. The busses are rolling right off the bat. She's just getting info to pass to the busses.
  7. Wonder what a negotiated 'truce' looks like for Russia at this point. Ukrainians aren't going to stop fighting in Crimea for a long time. It won't be force on force like now but I can't imagine it will be a comfortable lifestyle for anyone truly Russian in those areas.
  8. https://www.airforcetimes.com/news/your-military/2023/09/18/search-on-for-missing-marine-corps-fighter-jet-after-pilot-ejects/ A Marine Corps pilot safely ejected from a fighter jet over North Charleston on Sunday afternoon and the search for his missing aircraft was focused on two lakes north of North Charleston, military officials said. The pilot ejected and parachuted safely into a North Charleston neighborhood at about 2 p.m. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was in stable condition, said Maj. Melanie Salinas. The pilot’s name has not been released. Based on the missing plane’s location and trajectory, the search for the F-35 Lightning II jet was focused on Lake Moultrie and Lake Marion, said Senior Master Sgt. Heather Stanton at Joint Base Charleston. Both lakes are north of North Charleston.
  9. I was waiting for someone to point out that small fact.
  10. They hype is insufferable but was a great game. CSU was bringing the pain through personal fouls.
  11. Your bias is glaring......
  12. My favorite is Lackluster. He seems pretty un-biased and backs everything up with local/state/federal case laws. Bodycams are the best thing to happen for good and bad cops.
  13. General pet advice. If you don't have one yet. Don't get one until you're out. In this situation, it'll make things harder but like others have said, Europe is light years different in regards to 'pet friendly' things to do and what not. She'll be fine if she brings the dog over. There is almost zero advantage purchasing vehicles through the exchange. She will be MUCH better off buying something once over there on the used base market.
  14. Seems like there possibly could be some more actual high value targets to be hit with such limited precision assets they have. The Russian Navy isn't doing a whole lot to affect the war effort as far as I can tell. It looks good on the news so maybe that's a boost for the people I guess.
  15. Like totally
  16. I don't really have a problem with they payment issue. Only thing that sucks is with good but not great schools taking a 2-3 star guy and making him a 4-5 star guy who leaves after a year or two for a bigger school 🙂
  17. I think money talks right now. Playing field is a bit more even. Bama has a lot of competition recruiting wise now.
  18. yeah, they totally deserve it in that case.....
  19. This is the way
  20. I think it's blatantly obvious to anyone with any military/flying experience that she's full of shit. Reporters don't know fuck about shit when it comes to ANY of those questions. If the general public should learn anything about detecting bullshit, it should be any mention of the word classified.
  21. That's because you have military experience and you know better. There isn't a single thing in that lady/guy's background that my extended family would question on the face of it.
  22. Like before they write it? No chance. 99% of the non-mil related populace has zero reason to doubt someone claiming military service. I doubt they do any follow up either. Only hope is next time something like this happens they will think twice before copy/pasting someones claimed career. I emailed them as well and pointed out very politely all the tell tale signs of 'stolen valor' in this case.
