  1. I highly doubt it's a mandatory recall as thats a HUGE deal. Probably voluntary and targeted.
  2. We're so fucked when another one of these with actual consequences comes around. They have blown ANY shred of credibility away.
  3. I could show you thousands of instances of people in positions of power abusing children. Should we get rid of doctors? Coaches? Teachers? Police?
  4. Not sure what anything you have quoted so far has to do with JROTC ranks? I cringe every time I see "woke" used as its usually someone who turns out to be exactly like the stereotype I have pictured in my head saying it but that's for a different thread. Evil people abuse their positions of power whether their power comes from a silly JROTC rank or an upperclassmen/woman "hazing" an underclass"person". Same with JROTC instructors and teachers. You aren't preventing ANYTHING by taking away a title.
  5. I think that's pretty common knowledge. 50 feet won't matter though.
  6. Yeah been around the block as well transporting head injuries and it was ALWAYS keep it as low as possible. I can't imagine being told keep it below 100'. Very strange. Probably not being relayed correctly. I googled my ass off and can't find any articles about the evac.
  7. The LSO sitting on the carrier would have been higher than on the Osprey 🙂
  8. The medical evac of the LSO is crazy. Hell of a decision to give up 100+knots for 100 feet of altitude. Wonder how the helo got the required fuel to make it to the Philippines.
  9. Found it https://www.instagram.com/p/Co7iNLOr91t/?igshid=MjkzY2Y1YTY=
  10. By subtraction or addition?
  11. How does the missile know where it is though?
  12. It makes for incredibly akward situations (been there) but anyone that pushes you in the wrong direction (talking when you shouldn't be talking) isn't interested "looking out for you". On the plus side, you get to REALLY rile up Staff Sergeant Fucktard Investigator who really doesn't like it when you or your troop exercise their rights.
  13. closer to 2 million easy 🙂
  14. Last three shootdown targets are suspected to be commercial with no china connections apparently. As of now.
  15. The wreckage is in snow covered ground 🙂
  16. "The US sent up U-2 spy planes to track the balloon’s progress, according to US officials. One pilot took a selfie in the cockpit that shows both the pilot and the surveillance balloon itself, these officials said – an image that has already gained legendary status in both NORAD and the Pentagon." So gonna need that picture
  17. Did you know who leave?
  18. Back in the days when work email was ONLY used for sending the above videos and games.
  19. Why not? We're on a burner of a hot streak sorting out nation states. Lets keep the train rolling.
  20. At least we recovered the high tech balloon material.
  21. Dan Carlin's WW1 podcasts are amazing
  22. https://www.reuters.com/article/ukraine-crisis-ammunition-csg/restocking-western-ammunition-after-arming-ukraine-will-take-years-producer-idINL8N32R4T9 https://www.businessinsider.com/us-scrambling-for-artillery-shells-ukraine-can-use-against-russia-2023-1 In World War I and II, artillery ammunition wouldn't have been such a problem. The US, Germany, Britain, and Russia eventually developed enough manufacturing capacity to keep their big guns in action. During the Soviet offensive against the Seelow Heights in April 1945, Red Army gunners fired 500,000 shells in 30 minutes. Unfortunately for the Russian soldiers, their generals followed Soviet military doctrine nearly to the letter, and the Germans had grown used to their tactics. Anticipating a Soviet bombardment, the German generals had pulled most of their men back from the first defensive lines and reduced the number of men in the second lines. Holy hell
  23. exactly what a gotten person would say
