    Gun Talk

Dude should have pulled the trigger a couple hundred times in that encounter.
  2. The sheer amount of different brand new systems has got to be a mother fucker to manage though. Having to keep dudes on the lines while at the same time leveraging the newer tech training required should be some interesting reading after this is all over. Lots of open source reading showing UKR pilots in the States getting "advanced" flight training. Will probably see them getting some type of new fighter if they can hold their own this spring and summer.
  3. Everyone's a logistics expert now days. Certainly they haven't discussed this issue. WIll probably talk about it in a couple weeks.
  4. Obviously there will be issues but the sky is falling all of the southwest will have to migrate crowd gets a bit annoying. Agriculture will have to adapt along with the US food supply demands. Lots of changes coming.
  5. Water isn’t an issue. 78% of our water goes to growing alfalfa and the like in the desert.
  6. These aren’t showing up overnight. It will be many months at a minimum. This is more of another sign to Russia that the future isn’t getting easier for you. Gen heartling has a great twitter thread about the stuff you talk about.
  7. That's knee slapping funny. I'm in AZ
  8. We can start with making it illegal.....
  9. But you're not selling your excess power back to the man then. Which is fine but not possible as far as I know if you aren't storing but returning your excess. It would be tough to find a contractor that would be willing to install a solar setup and not follow the local code/rules.
  10. Right, so I'm not seeing how the utility would regulate non-battery bank homes to prevent feeding back into the grid. I'm sure its possible but we've lived here for 5 years now and have had zero outages so not a big deal to me.
  11. Your system feeds back into the system even during an outage? I mean I kind of see their point. If power is being fed back into a line that they think is isolated, they would have to determine which houses are still powered and manually disocnnect them in order to service the line.
  12. You have a battery though right? I think thats the difference. Somehow
  13. Lots of politicians going through their garage file cabinets right now 🙂
  14. From their site: If a power outage occurs, your PV system is required to shut down automatically for safety reasons. This prevents excess energy generated by your system from flowing back to our circuits while our crews are repairing equipment, which must be de-energized to prevent an electrical hazard.
  15. You can go completely solar but they won't connect you back to their grid if you have panels on your roof and don't comply with their requirements. They say its a safety thing for them.
  16. That's a bingo. You also have to be willing to game the system. Can't tell you how many times it was suggested to me by guys I had respected my whole career to "just submit for x,y,z, they can't prove you don't have it"
  17. Rest easy. The best and brightest that helped plan and execute the flawless withdrawal from AFG are being hand picked for the task force assembled to game plan future Russia.
  18. Don't they have a shit ton more command billets than other branches?
  19. Debt is debt right? Whether its going to defeat one of our long time "enemies" or its going to do a study on the long term harm to the mosquito population in Dubuque county California, it's still debt. It's not like adding to the debt is anything new for eiher side when they are in charge.
  20. Were you bitching just as much when we maxed out the credit cards every other year for less consequential shit?
  21. holy shit
  22. It's not the fall that kills em, its the bullet in the back of the head
  23. FAA confirmed 1000' separation at stop. Sounds like the ground radar saved the day. Next step for greater safety has to be some sort of automated communication to the aircraft in conflict versus an alert that relies on a human to hear/see the alert, then identify the conflict, then communicate to the conflicted aircraft?
  24. I don't think the person you're quoting is the "triggered" one here 🙂
