Thats the guy who prevented Guam from tipping over right?
-
Thats what I'm wondering. He wants to run and "they" don't want him to. Do they tear him down this way though? Seems there are easier less messy for everyone ways.

Enough scotch and the Lossie honey's are a close second 🙂

Should have went to Lossie 🙂 Smack dab in the middle of the best scotch distilleries in the world.

So why wasn't he drafted higher?
-
Crap shoot indeed. Look at Purdy. Mediocore big12 qb drafted dead last who's now been starter for 5 wins with San Fran.
-
NFL has LOADS of film on him now as well. Taking less of a gamble possibly than on the flash in the pan early draft guys. Might see some more on the fence guys sticking around due to the NIL.

Very early days (first couple weeks) Russian AF strikes and caps very uncoordinated but had giant numbers/tech advantage. UKR air defenses were entirely suppressed on teh ground and were forced to continually maneuver forcing UKR fighters to fly in extremely low to get under RUS fighters. Rest of it explained how much of a shit show the RUS military plan or lack of plan was. No comms and couldn't spell joint. basically this white paper https://rusi.org/explore-our-research/publications/special-resources/russian-air-war-and-ukrainian-requirements-air-defence

Hah. It's required but just ease into it.

$50? You're one hell of a deal finder.

Currently $80 roundtrip london to paris mid next month. Probably can get a bit cheaper if scheduled right.

Lived in UK for 8 years. Was pumped to give trains a go travelling locally and across in Europe. We went north up to scottland and west to wales many times but could never get it anywhere close to worth it cost/time wise. It was ALWAYS much cheaper to fly from Stanstead up to EDI or Aberdeen and could be done from door to door in about 5 hours versus the minimum of 12. We did the Eurostar once to Paris but drove or flew the other times. Eurostar wasn't that much cheaper than flights but was a bit more convenient with the minimal security. I can def see it working for certain city to city connections here and its crazy that it hasn't been done yet. There are lots of cities where the "local" airport doesn't have many non-stop options so a 2 hour car ride can be justified for a cheaper direct flight but then you add in car gas/parking/time and it starts to not be worth it. Connections in that regard I can def see catching on.

Pretty incredible that UKR apparently hasn't lost a single HIMARS yet. Looks like they hit another target the other night with anywhere from 100-500 KIA and another big weapons stockpile.

I think it will be shorter than your projection. What additional forces can they garner and utilize in anything other than the current frontal assaults being conducted? Lots of open source reporting of shell shortages and talk of the shells they are getting (with 2022 manufacture dates) as being complete garbage. Time is not in their favor on buying weapons. They don't appear to have adapted in the slightest. Those who are still around don't appear to have made any progress changing their tactics from the initial invasion and gradual loss of territory on their retreat east. Also, whats going on with Putin? Lots of videos and pictures supporting some type of illness or the results of an illness. Does the war end if he falls out a window or just dies? Ukraine has to make it through the winter civilian populace wise but I don't see anything major happening on that front. What does the Ukraine force strength look like though? I have no idea. I think their support from us and EU countries will only grow due to UKR seeming to be on the right path. I'm basing all of this off of open source intel and guesses. Could be way off but who knows.

Where were all these people complaining about Ukrainian aid when we spent 20+ years of blood and treasure fighting the boogey man with no strategy or will to "win"? We're now destroying what we thought was a peer enemy without any commitment of American blood....yet.

Local utility here won't allow panels on roof AND be on the city grid. We sell back enough that our total power bill the entire year is about $100 and that is only due to the monthly connection fee.

30,000 unsorted bags sitting on open air tarmac due to no more storage space inside 🙂

Lots of "pivoting"

Must have been a bunch of SWA pilots as his accomplices 🙂 https://edition.cnn.com/travel/article/flight-cancellations-christmas-2022-winter-storm/index.html

"They indicate not only was the aircraft within weight limits for triple-tandem landing gear, but that the flight was coordinated five days in advance. The airport reported taxiway damage to the unit and not runway damage. The image you have shown is a light off the edge of the runway to taxiway on Taxiway A. The 310k lbs listed is for dual-tandem landing gear and not the higher weight capable triple-tandem."

Crazy, media got it wrong I think. Read a correction somewhere and can't find it now. The type of gear setup on a C17 puts it well within the weight limits for the field apparently. Also, AF is claiming they DID have a PPR. Who knows. This is a towered field though and the aircraft landed during manned hours.
