Starship baby
It could have made it all the way to splashdown and they would call it a failure despite that being the intention all along. Tribes man. Tribes.

Starship baby
They definitely know now though 🙂 Maybe saved them some money on demo.

Starship baby
I took it more as they thought they could get one launch out of it and gambled. They obviously lost.

Starship baby
Yeah, what were they thinking. It's twice as powerful as the largest rocket fielded. Did you read Elon's quote?

This angle is freaking wild. They definitely lost engines from this.

1 tower and many rockets. From the looks of follow on videos, they FUCKED up the pad big time. NASA would have spent decades designing a over engineered pad that would have came in 100% over budget. Space X took a risk from the looks of it and from the outside looking in, they'll need a redesign for the next launch. "3 months ago, we started building a massive water-cooled, steel plate to go under the launch mount. Wasn’t ready in time & we wrongly thought, based on static fire data, that Fondag would make it through 1 launch. Looks like we can be ready to launch again in 1 to 2 months."

It sure sounds great though....Meanwhile, our day to day mission support comm systems are down on at least a weekly basis and are given lip service support. So innovative.

Starship baby
Yup, they had no intentions of it making it up. Booster and ship were going to splashdown in pacific and Atlantic. They have more starships but only one pad.

Starship baby
Cleared the pad and then some before deconstructing. She's a big ol' bitch 10 million pounds of propellant Video of entire launch https://fb.watch/k17C1M-B4e/

Russian Ukraine shenanigans
Why would they upgrade them, especially with armor when their top of the line tanks are jack in the boxing with javelins and the like? It's also sporting a 100mm main gun which I think the Russians have a big unused stockpile of if I remember right.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/2023/04/12/discord-leaked-documents/ Pretty hilarious. They got sick of his transcriptions so he started bringing the actual decks with photos 🙂

Finally done in Afghanistan?
And to be fair, our dear leader only had 7 months to analyze the current plan and make changes/delays as needed. Biden and his team were "well aware of the challenges posed by withdrawing from a warzone" after 20 years, the White House said, and while the Trump administration left a target date for leaving Afghanistan, it provided "no plan for executing it." Great, so what happened to all the fired generals and staffers who failed to plan for an event that the president at the time said was going to happen?

Finally done in Afghanistan?
Maybe this report will be the catalyst needed to enable the American public to elect someone into a position that will be able to make decisions related to military and diplomatic operations.

Personal credit card on the road?
TDY from Tyndall up to Cold Lake. Landed and were putting the jets to bed. Local gas trucks show up and we fill everything up. Go inside to finish forms and somebody mentioned something about their gas card didn't work so they borrowed the next jets. New crew chief hears this and asks what a gas card is. Long story short, truck driver asked for a card and new guy gave him his GTC 🙂 Wonder what 2300 gallons of JP-5 cost back then.
