If the shoe is on the other foot (down the road), hopefully Russia/Assad/Turks will return the courtesy and give us a heads-up.

The target of tonight's attack is Shayrat air base; Something to think about/there might still be Russians at this location; excerpts; - On 1 December 2015, Russia was preparing to expand its military operations in Syria by opening the al-Shayrat air base near the city of Homs, already home to Russian attack helicopters and a team that had arrived about a month prior. - 11 April 2016 (source; IHS Jane's); Russia has forward deployed its new attack helicopters in Syria to bring them closer to one of the main fronts in the current offensive against Islamic State militants. Airbus Defence & Space satellite imagery shows that there were four Ka-52 Alligator and three Mi-28N Night Hunter helicopters deployed to Al-Shayrat Air Base, 30 km southeast of Homs city, on 31 March. Al-Shayrat has previously been used as a forward base for Russian Mi-24 and Mi-35 helicopters, four of which could be seen at the base on 31 March.

A little known secret. Navarre Beach also has this GEM, rated the 43rd top Nude Beach on planet earth. When you cross the Navarre bridge go east toward Eglin AFB property. https://books.google.com/books?id=ZZq5AQAAQBAJ&pg=PT8&lpg=PT8&dq=navarre+nude+beach&source=bl&ots=Oso2krnZSW&sig=xsoadY76lhUXZeNozJWyXtm4H3Y&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiOm_zI1Y3TAhXKwFQKHaV5A9Q4HhDoAQgsMAM#v=onepage&q=navarre nude beach&f=false Top 10 Nude Beaches For Swingers In Florida (Navarre Beach is #8) as of 2015; 8. The Navarre Beach The Navarre Beach is by far one of the most popular nudist beaches in Florida. However, the daily security patrol sets the disrobing rules, so they vary day to day, this is why caution is advised. Keep your clothes next to you if you plan on sunbathing naked on Navarre Beach, just in case the patrol comes! https://www.swingers.org/top-10-nude-beaches-for-swingers-in-florida/

Homeowners insurance rates are very high in Florida, particularly if you live in a hurricane storm surge/flood zone. Property elevation/location/type construction is critical in reducing insurance costs. Note; A Cat 3 hurricanes will flood portions of HWY 98 (expect large sections of HWY 98 and other costal roads to be washed out), all of Okaloosa Island and Navarre Beach will be underwater, expect some of the bridges to be taken out and even areas way back in the bayous will get about 15 feet of tidal surge. https://www.floridadisaster.org/publicmapping/ A wind mitigation Inspection will save you big bucks on insurance. Look for these construction features (Hip roof and roof covering are the biggest money savers). Note; Two story houses will suffer significantly more wind damage on the second floor (more exposure to the wind) then a single story house, particularly if the second story house is surrounded by single story homes. Trees; you don't want any large trees within striking distance on the east side of your home. https://www.floridacentralhomeinspections.com/content/how-can-wind-mitigation-inspection-save-you-insurance Roof Covering: inspectors want to know when the roof was installed and does if it meets building codes. In Florida, the code standard was updated in 2001. Roof Deck Attachment: inspectors will determine what type of roof decking is used and how it’s attached to the underlying structure, like if it’s nailed or stapled down. If nails are used, nail length and spacing between each will also be noted. Roof to Wall Attachment: the roof attachments become the focus here: are trusses attached with nails or hurricane clips? Are the wraps single or double? The more secure your roof, the better impact on your wallet! Roof Geometry: is your roof hip or not? Nope, the inspector won’t care how cool it is, just how it’s shaped - a hip roof resembles that of a pyramid, and is a definite qualifier for a discount. Gable End Bracing: if the roof is a gable style, an inspector will review if the gable ends are braced to Florida Building Code standards. Gable ends measuring more than 48 inches tall should be braced for reinforcement, and inspectors will be checking for this qualification for discount. Wall Construction Type: Inspectors will review the construction materials used on your home for framing, reinforcement, and outer fascia, and at what percentages. Steel reinforced concrete block homes may yield a better discount than one with a plywood-only frame and plastic siding. Secondary Water Barrier: This is a newer item for roofs. If your roof was installed or upgraded before 2008, it’s fairly unlikely you’ll have this sort of barrier. As with most newer features, photo documentation, at a minimum, will be required for a discount in this area. Opening Protection: Here, inspectors are looking for shutters and installed-protection devices from wind-born debris for doors and windows. They will also be checking the rating of the devices, if you have them (as in- are they hurricane-rated?). 100% of all openings need to be covered with Hurricane rated protection to qualify for this discount.

Article today in the local rag (NWF Daily News); A new bubble? Housing market heating up. https://www.nwfdailynews.com/news/20170404/new-bubble-housing-market-heating-up Kind of reminds me of the early days leading up to the last housing bubble/financial crisis.

Mary Esther Manor (my neighborhood), I would estimate that about 80% of the residents are either active duty or retired military. This is a very low crime area, it's located just east of Hurl Fld, and it's about a 4 or 5 minute drive to either of Hurl Flds main gates. Current property values (2017) mostly range from 180K to 300K (most in the 200k range). 2013 video I found of this neighborhood; Note-If you have kids/something to consider; Location of registered sexual predators/offenders in this AO. https://www.city-data.com/so/so-Fort-Walton-Beach-Florida.html https://www.city-data.com/so/so-Mary-Esther-Florida.html

Tailhook's fallout will be tame compared to this, I'm thinking

Here's one example-Scud Bunker A.K.A. Sloot Bunker (true story); Long ago, I attended a Force Protection meeting chaired by the Wing Commander (BGEN) at a certain AO location. One of the FP issues identified was that the Security Forces were spending way to much of their time pointing the perimeter cameras (at night) toward the inside of the camp. The Security Forces seemed to be obsessed with couples going into the Sloot Bunkers at night to fornicate. The Wing Commander order the SF CC to turn his damn cameras around and focus on the perimeter. He also recommended putting free condom dispensers in the Sloot Bunkers. -

LoL, and DoD/Congress is worried about a bunch of young Marines looking at nudie pictures. This caught my eye/need more details. Excerpt; Another incident in 2007 involved Francis paying for a stay — and prostitutes — at the MacArthur Suite of the Manila Hotel in the Philippines. “During the party, historical memorabilia related to General Douglas MacArthur were used by the participants in sexual acts,” the indictment said. -

A couple of my theories on this subject (sarcasm, i think/yes i'm currently violating GO#1 ROE's); Theory #1. This "problem" might be a subtle indicator of some of the negative effects from 26 years of fighting wars in countries where the troops can't blow off steam, drink or chase skirt. Also, General Order Number #1 hasn't been good for morale, etc. Heck, Muhammad's first Executive Order in 618 AD was the Islamic version of our current US military General Order #1 and today it's still in effect-1,400 years later. With these type rules/laws, It's no wonder that male Muslims become so radicalized at such a young age. How has this type of heavily enforced GO #1 worked out for Muslim females over the last 1,400? Theory #2. These Marines may be suffering from some form of ingrained, subconscious - DNA induced, PT-stress disorder (note PT in this case doesn't mean Post Traumatic). Mother Nature should also be placed on the chopping block for her failures, if this is proven to be true. -

Possible punishment for these Devil Dogs; Nuts; Three dogs were sitting in the waiting room at the vet's when they struck up a conversation. The Yellow Labrador turned to the Black Labrador and said, so why are you here? I'm a pisser. I piss on everything....the sofa, the curtains, the cat, the kids. But the final straw was last night when I pissed in the middle of my owner's bed. The Yellow Lab said, so what's the vet going to do? "Gonna cut my nuts off" came the reply from the Black Lab. They reckon it'll calm me down. The Black Lab then turned to the Yellow Lab and asked, why are you here? The Yellow Lab said, I'm a digger. I dig under fences, dig up flowers and trees, I dig just for the hell of it. When I'm inside, I dig up the carpets. But I went over the line last night when I dug a great big hole in owner's couch. So what are they going to do to you "the Black Lab inquired"? Looks like I'm losing my nuts too, the dejected Yellow Lab said. The Black Lab then turned to the Great Dane and asked, why are you here? I'm a humper, said the Great Dane. I'll hump anything. I'll hump the cat, a pillow, the table, fence posts, whatever. I want to hump everything I see. Yesterday my owner had just got out of the shower and was bending down to dry her toes, and I just couldn't help myself. I hopped on her back and started hammering away. The Black and the Yellow Labs exchanged a sad glance and said, "So, it's nuts off for you too, huh ?” The Great Dane said, “No, apparently I'm here to get my nails clipped!" -

Yep, I've got a globe and there's a subtle point i''m trying to make with my silly comment. Oh, i probably should've added Pakistan to the list. Hopefully, in the next four years, we can reduce the number of countries requiring a heavy dosage of USAF delivered HE.

Yep, i don't think "Bradley" has made the offical conversion to "Split-Tail" status "Yet".

Hopefully we got the most bang for the buck with these long range/large payload bombers and swung by Afghanistan, Yemen, Somalia, Iraq, and Syria to hit a few targets while enroute to Libya.

IMHO, the Electorial College needs a wee bit of tweaking. Maybe a fairer way to divide the electoral college votes would be to partial them out, below state level, based on Congressional Districts/Senate seats won. Of course, to do this, we would have to hold the Senate elections every four years to coincide with the Presidential election cycle. Downside; the political parties would still find a way to rig the system/districts. The current 538 electors (Electoral College Votes), correspond to the 435 House of Representatives and 100 Senate seats, plus the 3 electors for the District of Columbia. Example of how something like this might look for California; The 55 California electoral votes would be given out for the 2016 election cycle as follows; 1. The Republicans would get 23 electoral votes to put into the Republican Presidential nominee electoral vote basket (Note; The Republicans won 23 Congressional Districts in California). 2. The Democrats would get 32 electoral votes to put into the Democrats Presidential nominee electoral vote basket (Note; The Democrats won 30 Congressional Districts and 2 Senate seats which in California = 32). Example of how something like this might look at a National level; The total 2016 National Presidential electoral vote tally would look something like this (I think a few seats are still being contested or votes are being counted); 1. The Republican Presidential nominee would get 290 electoral votes (239 House of Representatives districts + 51 Senate seats won = 290). 2. The Democrat Presidential nominee would get 243 electoral votes (192 House of Representatives districts won + 48 Senate seats won + 3 Washington DC electoral votes won = 243). 3. Independents/others won a total of 5 districts/seats = 5 electoral votes? Totals; 290 + 243 + 5 = 538 electoral votes.

Or when we used reliable/well vetted sources, on Saddam's WMD program, like Ahmed Chalabi and Curveball. These two lying clowns definitely influenced the "it's time to go to war" decision of the President and key members of the NSC. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curveball_(informant https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ahmed_Chalabi

Tidbit; General Mattis will be our first Secretary of Defense "ever" that's single. General Mattis A.K.A. "The Warrior Monk" is a life-long bachelor, who has never been married and has no children. My recommendation; The first order of business for the Joint Chiefs of Staff, on day one, should be to get this dude hooked up/laid.

Maybe he will run for President in 4 years. I can see the slogans/Tshirts now "Mad Dog 2020". Question; Does anyone know the real story about this particular incident that happened at the Rhino LZ (2001/Afghanistan)? Did the USAF bail out General Mattis/USMC by taking the initiative and rescuing the wounded SF troops? https://m.reddit.com/r/Military/comments/24spkh/mattis_veterans_are_not_victims/

The rest of the story; Yep, the top dog (Nixon) received a pardon but this act of clemency didn't flow down the chain of command. In typical fashion, most of the Watergate co-conspirators/worker bees were hung out to dry without any hope of a pardon. The Watergate 7 (none received a pardon); four of the seven were convicted, fined, and did jail time. One had charges dropped prior to trial, one had his conviction overturned on appeal, and one was acquitted at trial. Here's a few more that didn't receive a pardon for their Watergate involvement; These three were convicted and did jail time; Jeb Magruder, Dwight Chapin, and Ed Reinecke. Note; If history repeats itself then Hillary's staff may meet the same end.
