Possibly alopecia as a result of anthrax shots? A guy at my old unit ended up having his hair fall out shortly after anthrax shots. Was diagnosed with alopecia, but I mean anthrax shots are 100% safe. The military would never use us as guinea pigs.

If you find someone who has CMS (Case Management System) they can follow it up until it gets to SAF. You can see what the AFPC functional puts in the manning squares, etc...

I saw this same thing in the height of the last fighter pilot shortage at Sheppard on the T-6 side. It was damn near impossible to wash out of T-6s and even harder to non-fighter FAIP qual out of T-38s. I spent many an assignment night with my 38 brethren saying “Fighter for that kid? He was terrible in T-6s.” “He didn’t get any better in 38s, but there was nothing we could do...”

It didn’t work the first time we tried it or the second time but I’m sure this time will be different!

This is nothing new either which is frustrating seeing young guys like yourself get to experience what I got to go through after the Oprah giveaways in the early 2000’s. Just when you think they learn something they prove just how stupid they are. We sent way too many kids to fighters that had no business being there when I was a UPT IP and now there will be good deserving guys be the unfortunate victim to AF piss-poor planning. Yeah, it’s not about “what you want” and “service before self” applies, but what a way to ensure good guys don’t stick around, giving them this experiences early in their careers. Sucks man. Best of luck going into drop though!
