  1. Pretty awesome to hear. Who was the jack ass who decided to take it down? MSG/CC? Hope that person feels like a dick right now knowing they got called out by the CSAF.
  2. That article...wow...propaganda much? I get it...war is bad...but way to leave out tons of facts/justifications just so you can say "war is bad."
  3. I know someone who had that happen. Arrested for DWI (blew like 0.03 or something pretty low), thrown out for lack of evidence (blood draw at the police station was all zero's), but big blue took the case and ran with it.
  4. I did a search and couldn't come up with anything so if this is a repost I apologize in advance. I have been out of the game for a while but I made a pretty penny with Apple (AAPL) back in the 2003 time range. I told myself to buy Ford (F) back in 2010ish when it was down around a $1.00 a share but never went through with it...and I will always regret not buying. But now Apple is back in the $94 range since it just had a 7 way split and I am contemplating getting back in. While I don't think Apple is the power house has been for the past 5 years I still think it will go back up a decent amount (probably not $700-800 sadly). Any other favorites out there?
  5. Bumping this question. While I just paid for the ATP written study materials out of pocket it would be nice to know if I could try and use TA for the flying portion of the cert when I get around to it.
  6. I'd wager Stockholm Syndrome is somewhere in there...
  7. But seriously, this is awesome news!

That's a good point...I'm more used to seeing the RMR on top. Definitely looks like the 3 Gun style has moved over into into the operator world. (still from Lone Survivor)

Pictures and info of a MARSOC operators duty weapons: Teaser: Link: https://imgur.com/a/kqxLU Thoughts: The two M4's he has are set up pretty oddly IMO. Maybe it's because they are dated but having an ACOG and an offset T-1 is pretty weird when you can have an RMR ontop of the ACOG.
  12. Parking at Scott is already a clown show...and made even worse when about two lanes worth of spots in front of the BX are all for DV's. Transcom and AMC's parking lots are even worse. The funniest thing I have heard is they can't make a parking garage because there is no place to park if they close down the lot to build the garage. It's a vicious cycle...
  13. So did the SFS guys only get 10 round mags also for their M9s and M4s? And I assume the M4s were semi-automatic only...can't have 3-round burst in Cali!
  14. That sounds striking similar to strats...
  15. Lot's of 341's were thrown away that day...
  16. Bumping this. I just got off the phone with my CC who said the functional is looking to PCA someone over to C-21s and I'm on the short list (not a bad problem to have IMO). My concerns...I just made AC and wouldn't get IP in my MWS. What kind of issues might that cause? Next, I would have over 5 years on station (just over 3 yrs in my current sq and then expect 2 yrs in the C-21). Are there any pros/cons to that? I am currently deployed so I can't pick up the phone and call the bro network so looking here first. Thanks!
  17. I don't remember a Bible ever being part of the Missing Man table. Stolen from Wikipedia: Table: set for one, is small, symbolizing the frailty of one isolated prisoner. The table is usually in the range of the entrance to the dining room. For large events of the Missing Man Table is set for six places: members of the five armed services (Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and Coast Guard) and a sixth place setting reminiscent of the civilians who died during service alongside the armed forces or missing during armed conflict.[8] Table is round to represent everlasting concern on the part of the survivors for their missing loved ones.[9]Tablecloth is white, symbolic of the purity of their intentions to respond to their country’s call to arms.[10] Single red rose in the vase, signifies the blood that many have shed in sacrifice to ensure the freedom of our beloved United States of America. This rose also reminds us of the family and friends of our missing comrades who keep the faith, while awaiting their return.[11] Yellow ribbon on the vase represents the yellow ribbons worn on the lapels of the thousands who demand with unyielding determination a proper accounting of our comrades who are not among us tonight.[12] Slice of lemon on the plate: represents the bitter fate of the missing.[13] Salt sprinkled on the plate: symbolic of the countless fallen tears of families as they wait.[14] Inverted glass: represents the fact that the missing and fallen cannot partake. Empty chair: the missing and fallen aren't present.[15] Candle: reminiscent of the light of hope which lives in our hearts to illuminate their way home, away from their captors, to the open arms of a grateful nation
  18. Complete with Megan Fox...I thought they had a falling out?
  19. If that picture is accurate...when did Syria get Su-27s? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syrian_Air_Force Doesn't mention any Flankers in their inventory.
  20. So Rip It's are bad...but the Standing Rock's are okay? I'm getting mixed signals here...
  21. Yea he got the B-1 time when he was the 379 EOG/CC so I wasn't even counting that. But in terms of real assignments he went C-12 to C-21 to C-141 to C-17 to KC-135 to C-130.
