While that statement is true, it isn't necessary to have a 30MM GAU-8A to be an effective CAS platform. Better qualities are loiter time, slow speed characteristics, and survivability.

When I got my last medical in 2007 the rules were 36 months under 40 years old until the 3rd class expired. Now it says its good for 60 months. Is my medical grandfathered in under the 60 month rule? Thanks! And what Google turned up: https://www.faa.gov/licenses_certificates/m.../faq/response4/

It's not an armed naval vessel. It's a USNS, not a USS. Actually a pretty big difference. Surprised a pirate prison ship wouldn't have a Frigate, Destroyer, or Cruiser near by though.

Going on three weeks for a travel voucher here. Went in to bitch yesterday and the entire system is down. All they can do I see that it go to its destination. And hooray for me I am turning in another tomorrow. Wohoo!

It's just perpetuating the stereotype at this point. But seriously...yea there has to be another side to this coin. And very very gay of the Air Force to not give him two more years for retirement...dude served 18 years honorably (atleast appears so). And he wasn't knocking down the closet if no-one else in his base, or even the unit, knew he was homosexual.

Airline pilots fly about 3 times a week....and they don't carry POTUS around. AF1 can't afford to make a bad landing. Every landing they make has to be text book perfect, not because POTUS will be pissed if they spill his drink, but rather its the social/quazi-diplomatic impact that could be had by watching AF1 bounce down the runway 4 times. -

Poorly planned. But seriously...I am always amazed at the lack of common sense/intelligence of people. AF1 is probably the most easily recognized plane in history. Look out the window, notice its AF1...realize that AF1 isn't gonna ever run into a building. Go back to work. -
Yea I really don't want to give it up, but I don't know a lot of people here yet. Especially any that are off base. I figure if I give it to SF it will either have a trigger lock on it or will be missing some critical components...like the bolt. Preferably the trigger lock.

So at what point do I have to turn a gun into SF if I am living in the dorms on base? I am in the process of building an AR-15 (just ordered some parts). I DON'T have the lower receiver yet (the only part that is technically considered a weapon). But I will still need to finish building it at some point...thus having the lower receiver in my dorm room. Figured I'd throw the question out here before potentially embarrassing myself to the SF A1C.

I forget what OS and OD mean, but If your eye pressure (I think?) is outside of regs BEFORE PRK even it falls inside after PRK you will still be DQed. This happened to a buddy of mine, he was going ENJJPT, and nobody told him until about 3 months before graduation. Big FUBAR situation and he got Space & Missiles. When I get back from ASBC I will look at my PRK paperwork and compare what numbers I had. So expect a follow up post Sat or so.

Premiere is the video editing program. You want Adobe Flash and Adobe After Effects. After Effects can create stuff from scratch, and coupled with Photoshop its very powerful.
