  1. I'm not a personnelist, but from a friend of mine: there is a services "agency" underneath the AFPC umbrella that dictates what is served in AF chow halls.
  2. The problem with that is that things can and do get covered up by the IG process or leadership that can never be proven as retaliation. Just my opinion.
  3. Check PM
  4. I think what he was getting at was what date he's pinning on now, not if he is.
  5. What about the dudes who got passed over? Will they pin on at 2 years from 1Lt date of rank like normal?
  6. There were a handful in the very beginning without a U-28.
  7. Did you have to do anything special for this? Different number or code word or something?
  8. There's a new "brew pub" in Portales which isn't all that bad, either...if you can deal with an hour plus wait.
  9. Not sure about the rest of the dudes that have posted, but my story is legit. Nothing negative, 3 training reports only.
  10. Found some interesting stats today...with those that have no AAD, ASBC complete and a P on their PRFs, promotion stats were: Pilot: 124/145 for 85% Nav: 15/32 for 46% ABM: 14/19 for 73%
  11. My bad, wasn't as clear as I should've been. July date of rank, didn't start school until the following July. +1 year for school, then on from there.
  12. For what it's worth, I got passed over too. Had a 6 month wait to start nav school, pinned on 1Lt in Little Rock (6 mo), then had another 6 month FTU at my current base.
  13. Mine aren't nearly as complicated, probably, but I use Mint.com (and its associated app on the iPhone/iMac). It's got a simple interface, but it works rather well.
  14. Highly recommended card, as far as I'm concerned. The wife and I get approximately $350-400 cash back per year (so around $275-$325 after annual fee). Good customer service too.
  15. Because the mission has been an AC type one for some time, but only recently did the politician types change the designation.
  16. "officially" now AC-130W
  17. Good point. I was hoping they were going off the "old" designation for the W so that'd we'd get some more navs.
  18. Was this a J model?
  19. OSU's MBA is under the TA cap.
  20. Overpriced, plenty of houses for sale from what I've heard, but rentals are tough to find and usually go quickly. The house across the street from me has been for sale for two months with not even a showing.
  21. Near the golf course is ok too, but it's also been targeted for car break-ins and house robberies lately (I personally know 6 people in the last two months).
  22. Additional news source: https://rapidcityjournal.com/news/plane-goes-down-fighting-white-draw-fire/article_9b8b5de1-862c-570d-add9-9231cb3fe5e5.html
  23. Until they move the U-28s there.
  24. Any of the three AC's coming to the W?
