  1. Unfortunately I was blindly listening to an individual who got “Chiefed” at a retirement ceremony about the brown boots and Flight suit. The reg says mandatory wear on 01 Apr 2021...good thing I bought them last week. However, the coyote brown (tan 499) shirts are required. When you work on staff, you’ve got lots of time to worry about the important stuff....
  2. Pretty sure 1 September was date for boots, 1 Jun was date for tan shirts
  3. Easy there Corn Pop...he’s a bad dude
  4. There is a form you submit, which explains the error, and how it affected your board. Personally, I would try. You lose nothing by trying to meet the supplemental. Touch bases with Autumn Foley, she’ll be able to provide current guidance. Mine experience is several years old. For reference, my OSB showed me in S flying status, versus K flying status. I was on staff, and the paperwork hadn’t caught up to reflect me being in an Non-Flying billet. I used that to get another look.
  5. Everything FourFans said is spot on. I do think it’s Autumn Foley, she’s been there for awhile. The only additional piece of advice, is scour your As Meet records. If you find anything missing or incorrect, there’s a process to apply and meet a supplemental board. If your missing an OPR, could be a game changer. The guy punch is real, and I never really get more than “needed more O6 strats”. Keep your head up, different opportunities are available to you now.
  6. I hated that class for my online Masters degree...
  7. We’ve missed you Chang. And as one of those “barrel-scrapers” vectored for MAJCOM staff, it would have been nice to have someone in a position of leadership explain the rules. The vast majority of us don’t ever get the secret decoder ring brief.
  8. This next week is going to be many peoples high, and many peoples low. If you happen to be one of the latter, don’t despair. Not getting promoted doesn’t define you as a person, it is a big kick to the junk. However, dust yourself off and try to focus on what’s good about your situation, versus what could’ve been. Good luck folks.
  9. Congratulations and thanks for your service! Now get to the BX kiosk and buy your OIF/OEF retired veteran hat [emoji106]
  10. I think his plan was to try and fluster Biden with interruptions, but sometimes less is more. Just let Joe talk, and he’ll get onto some Corn Pop tangent. The fact he wouldn’t just condemn white supremacy, will be all that is talked about. That should have been an easy layup, but hey....it’s Trump
  11. Based on how 2020 is going, I would expect the release to be 4 November...
  12. How many more Trump “bombshells” can we expect between now, and November 3rd. We’ve been inundated for 4 years with a continual onslaught of this hysteria...I think this would have been effective if they didn’t tell us he was Russian spy for years. Anyone with a functioning brain could have known this from the jump; he didn’t release his taxes because it would show he’s not a Billionaire like he claims.
  13. If in 2016, Clinton won under the same conditions as Trump, do you know how many people would be saying that the electoral college need to be dismantled...Zero. Everyone knows how we elect the President in this country, campaign accordingly.
  14. Term limits. You have people that have been in DC politics for 30-45 years. They’re are crooks, D’s and R’s. After 20 years, you’re done.
  15. If you think for one second that Obama wouldn’t have filed a SCOTUS seat, when his party had controlled the Senate, at the end of his first term; then you’re not being intellectually honest. Parliamentary procedure isn’t about “fairness”, it’s about what party’s in control. Just like Harry Reid in 2013, when they changed to rules requiring 60 votes to approve federal judges and executive branch nominees, to the now accepted simple majority. https://www.heritage.org/political-process/commentary/5-years-after-going-nuclear-democrats-have-reaped-what-they-sowed This RBG wrinkle is going to make the first 9 months of 2020 look relatively peaceful...
  16. I was Active Duty guy who did VRRAD. How did he your buddy get accepted if he hadn’t retired yet. I thought the program was for individuals who had retired, or were retiring within 12 months.
  17. They made it fancy and new...I believe the intent is to use a lower case e...nailed it
  18. My brother works at the VA in claims department. He was telling he that one day he had three deaths that were initially “respiratory illness” be changed to COVID. He asked how was that determination made, the bodies were cremated, did they do other testing? Answer was, label it COVID.
  19. At a minimum they need to reclassify it. The fact that it’s a Schedule 1 narcotic, like Meth and Coke is laughable. Once the federal government realizes how much tax revenue they can steal, it will be acceptable.
  20. You’re missing the point, the chaos is the end game. The “protestors” want to see an end to the American Capitalist system, they view it as racist and unjust. It appears that direct force and coercion, are the newest tactics. Forcing individuals to “raise their hand in support of your movement” is a literal personification of the Maoist struggle session.
  21. Tolerance personified as an elderly couple exited a political event 👍
  22. Biden is a career politician, who’s showing obvious signs of mental decay. A vote for him, is a vote for Harris as POTUS. And if the far left gets into power, it will only be a matter of when, they decide that the “Imperialist” US military needs to have budgets slashed. I hate Trumps delivery, but he believes in the idea of having strong national defense; and that means funding it.
  23. What’s wrong with this patch...not a Facebook user
  24. Democrats are STILL mad that established process we use to elect our President didn’t favor their candidate...makes sense. There is a remedy, amend the Constitution. And if you think that 70 representatives purposely skipping the duly elected individuals inauguration, and then calling him an active Russian agent for three years is “accepting” results; then I would wonder what you think them not accepting results would look like.
  25. I like the Utah model; but I think part of the challenge will be that each state has its own process. It’s the same issue we have with in-person voting. Some states are all electronic, some in person with bubble fill in, some states use the paper push out style. We’ve become accustomed to finding out results fairly quickly on election night. I’m not looking forward to the chaos that will ensue when we can’t get results within weeks of the date. Devils advocate; let’s say we do massive mail-in voting. Do we really think that the Democrats will accept results of a Trump victory...they haven’t accepted 2016
