  1. they are hiring but only have a limited # of slots left. If I were you I would call the unit and let them know you are interested and start visiting the unit yesterday. A lot of their peeps are in FTU here at LRF right now too is that is closer to you. Start finding out anyone you know in the unit. whats your background and maybe I can make a connection
  2. kitten mittens, normal 3:1 Warrior, if your ADSC is non-waiverable why dont you just apply under the normal Palace Chase? If you want out, why are you holding out? Start the process now. Question for those approved and have made the transition as a TR regarding health care. How long does your Prime run once you separate? is it 6 months after your DOS or that day and do you just call and make the switch to Reserve select? do you have to wait until after your DOS or can I call right now so everything switches on my DOS? Same question for dental. thanks
  3. About 6-7 weeks and now waiting for the second endorsement. It's ridiculous how long it sits up there when the functional told my boss his only criteria for recommendation of approval is whether or not I am within a yr of my ADSC. Bottom line, if you have a job offer I am pretty sure it will get approved. Once it moves from afpc to the SAF/PC office you should find out in 4-5 days Fresh, you can get vgli, vets life insurance. I calculated it on the website yesterday, $57/month for $400k
  4. Palace chase approved, whoop, whoop!!!!
  5. Anyway to see where "exactly" it is once it's at the AFPC DPO?
  6. if its supposed to be on your orders and isnt I would ask for an amendment. PTDY NOW AUTHORIZED FOR VOLUNTARY SEPARATEES IMPACTED BY FORCE MANAGEMENT. DoDI 1327.06 has been updated to reflect the entitlement of Permissive TDY for ALL separatees impacted by force management programs (use batch updated matrix).
  7. tell them to call the lady I quoted
  8. im at home, did they update 02 11Ms?
  9. Correct, it is criminal how they speed and put those ADSCs on our SURF When we haven't even completed, let alone started training. Why do I have to sign the ADSC when I get the assignment notification? Stop speeding and I will sign it upon graduation. They tried to get a bunch of guys to sign adscs for requal. False! IP school, FALSE! If it runs concurrent with one that extends past the one I am signing, why are we even wasting our time with this extra paperwork? Career development is right up there with AFPC in my mind. No one knows how to implement their own guidance.
  10. I hope she doesn't make you cry during the interview like she did to Oprah; or your career then takes the path of the two F-22 whistleblowers.
  11. How do you know none of the 11Bs that applied were approved? Have you gone to every person that applied and asked what their status is? And what do you think threatening an IG complaint is going to do, make them approve people? Not everyone that was approved is going to post their status on BODN. You have to realize that just because they weren't approved through the VSP (pay), they could have decided to simply separate. Or for someone that still has an ADSC, they could have found a job through palace chase and that will subtract from the overages as well.
  12. pm me, ill get you the info thats why i want to push it to the right
  13. anyone have to move their requested DOS to the right? thinking more about taking terminal rather than selling it back, thoughts? also what are the first days like, if I received an airline training date that sandwiched when I am supposed to report to the new unit, are they usually cool with, whenever you can get there or do you jave to report on a specific day and do oodles of paperwork for 2 days to get inprocessed?
  14. had an 05 11M IP approved yesterday at the rock
  15. Gator- google AF-epubs, search leave, ctrl F payment Payment for Accrued Leave. Title 37, U.S.C., section 501, is the authority for payment for accrued leave upon reenlistment, retirement, separation under honorable conditions, or death. It limits payment of accrued leave to 60 days in a military career effective 10 Feb 76. A military career includes former service in enlisted or officer status" I'll take 10%. Haha
  16. Apparently 50 mc-12 guys approved? Guess avenge, L3 and others won't be short on their pool of pilots
  17. A former commander and E-11 pilot in particular. A couple former kc-10 guys with GV types And one without (family friend) and a bunch of other randos like a local guy for a jewler and a family friend used to for a car dealership. Why do you ask?
  18. correct, you are just non-current. and all it shows it you can fly a jet like that and it gets you in the door to about 50% of the corporate gigs if they like you. most of us without that kind of type wont even have a shot even if i have 3x the amount of hours you do.
  19. my buddy is an '03 Buff that applied and hasnt heard yet. rickybobby, they let a T-6 IP leave to go fly the E-11????? SCORE!!!! have fun flying for corporate
  20. haha, I love it. So when one of the "good guys" mouths off its ok, but when one of the "bad guys" does its not? Kinda like when that airman of the yr mouthed off and I couldnt reprimand her, you know, because she was airman of the yr
  21. Moose, that doesn't mean they were the ones that made the decision
  22. Jug head, is "affecting the DoD" make you feel better? It's like once a "fill in the blank, always a fill in the blank". Still affects people that were in the DoD. Just trying to use an analogy, not submitting a talking paper to you. Jimminy Xmas. If that is what you are taking away from this forum, go back to working in your cubicle at AFPC denying apps that uploaded the wrong IRR Let's hear some more good news. Close out 05 and move on to the rest shoes!
