In other words "I'll stick with my book of fairy tales to rely on giving me the truth"

Yes it was. One example is Pan Zhang and Wang Zhongxian from the early Zhou dynasty in China (1046–256 BC). Same sex marital practices and rituals were recognized in Mesopatamia. Same with Assyria. Roman Emperor Elaglabus referred to his chariot driver, a blond slave named Hierocles as his husband. He also married a male athlete named Zoticus in a lavish public ceremony in Rome. So again CHRISTIANITY redefined marriage to one man one woman. Homosexual marriages, while it may not have been common, DID occur prior to Christianity. So no the word marriage is not being redefined- it's being returned to it's original definition. Just marry women with the same sized feet. They can share.
-
We didn't redefine marriage. The church did. Marriage was around before Christianity. The rest of your post is right. A contract between two or more consenting adults should be honored if the government is going to be in that business.

Holy matrimony is a religious matter. Marriage is the joining of two things. In this case, people. Religion plays no part in that.
-
What part of HOLY did you not understand when I said HOLY matrimony? If a polygamist enters into holy matrimony with his 2nd, 3rd or 4th wife. Are they legally married?
-
No. The freedom to oppress others with your religion? Yes.
-
I was joking. Wrong. Holy Matrimony is religious. Marriage is not.
-
I now kinda want to marry my dog then tell my more conservative friends they were right all along.

Pay the man.

How was he breaking the rules? Did he ask or did he tell? No? No rule broken then.

Is that what Tebow is paying the Pats to be listed on their roster? You're right, that IS a good deal.

I've never seen her with that much clothes on before.

I thought about posting a joke request to have my name changed to cleedingbunt... but for some reason I have a feeling that joke would be honored. So I'm not going to.

My sister lives in Lawton and I have built a few homes over the years. Two main reasons for the lack of basements: 1- The soil is high in clay 2- They have a high water table Water isn't good for foundations alone, add clay to the mix (which absorbs water and expands) and you'll get basement walls with a lot of external pressure on them and water all around.

Actually it was the 558th anniversary of Richard of York sacking St Albans in the War of the Roses, kidnapping King Henry the VI in the process. Clearly this was the work of his sympathizers.

As opposed to "I've heard every word you said but have no idea what the fuck you said."

It's a tongue in cheek dig at those who clamor for a gun ban here in the U.S., would be my guess.

Just going off the site survey teams findings in regards to costs. The quote I heard was Forbes was "the most competitive Guard candidate at almost half the cost". I'm sure geographically splitting the KC46 factored into it, but even if another AD base were chosen I think the east coast lobby would've still made sure Pease got it. As far as closing the doors if they (you) didn't get it, just going off the rumor mill that this was your life ring. In any event, congrats!

Religion. People murdering each other over who's God is most loving.
-
Only to keep the doors from closing. Politics. Forbes was a way better choice with half as much for construction costs.

I've seen supposed pictures of the cargo. If the pictures are of the actual load it would be not surprise to me the cargo shifted. The MRAPs in the pictures I saw were secured using commercial cargo straps (mind you these vehicles weigh about 28K each). Just by looking at them I wouldn't rate them any higher than 1000 pound straps each... not the 5K straps we use. They looked pretty damn thin in the pictures.

Considering the current topic in this thread is male homosexuality... I hope we never get to see that tag earn its keep.
