  1. 1. No shit? 2. Puh-leeze! He was a media darling his senior year, through the Heisman hunt, into the draft, and all through pre-season- with the fact that he's so open about his Christianity being the centerpiece! His downfall wasn't him being open about his beliefs... it was the fact he is a hack, at best, at NFL QB.
  2. Even if Bagram is 360 miles in the opposite direction of where you are headed? Kandahar would be a lot shorter hop for fuel and it's a lateral move, not in the wrong direction.
  3. Tim Tebow is a hero. He's spent his whole life dealing with persecution from the gays. The gays telling him his lifestyle is amoral and he's going to Hell. Being ostracized and disowned by family for being Christian. Seeing his Christian friends being bullied because of their beliefs... to the point of suicide. Plus the fact that gays are a major majority in this country (something like 85% self identified) he will always be on the fringe of being accepted into society. And the way the gays work to make sure Christians can't get married. How in small towns they have to keep their Christianity secret. What a great hero he is.
  4. Yeah, bad wording. Just two.
  5. Been standard for the past couple of years at my last two guard bases.
  6. Yeah, most people who are framed throw IEDs out the window at cops as they're being chased. I know a guy whose sister is #4 prostitute in whole of Kazakhstan. Reports are saying they were granted citizenship along with asylum (although not at the same time). Guess it was domestic after all, Rokke. (KIDDING!)
  7. ba-dum-CHING!
  8. Move to Kansas and you'll see it everyday in the legislature. I was unaware David Sirota was a fiscally conservative, socially liberal libertarian.
  9. I have no qualms admitting I'm against any group that actively works to limit the rights of others. I think the Tea Party started out as a great movement with a succint anti-tax/spending goal, but they have since been bastardized by neo-conservatives with a far right winged/religious agenda. Did I speculate to say there was a chance these type of people were behind the attack? Sure. But I also hoped that wasn't true. I'd like to think that no matter how radical your agenda is you don't attack your own people to make your point. I'm glad these jackholes were foreigners- I'd hate to look at my fellow American with the shame that would have came it the attack was domestic. If this had occured in Anchorage at the start of the Iditarod I may have speculated the attack was possibly done by radical animal-loving leftists based on the location and the occasion.
  10. My bad. I didn't know AQ holds the patent for this type of IED and only them and their affiliates are allowed to produce such a device.
  11. Speculation isn't assumption. Get a dictionary, read it, learn something. Right next to the 8 year old kid. Fuckin' disgusting. Were they Arab? Which is who you implied was behind it. They could have just as easily been u.s. citizens who were fundamental islamists... hell they'd been living here for 10 years.
  12. Fox News is saying they are of Chechnian heritage, but grew up and lived on the Russian side near Chechnya... so in essence Chechens.
  13. Russians. Don't think ANYONE saw that coming.
  14. Uhh... you don't set it on the ground. You either set it up higher or use a suicide vest, etc. I wish I had the ability to tell a person's nationality just by a grainy photo of a portion of their face.
  15. The internet? These bombs were designed to maim in large numbers, not kill in large numbers. AQ and affilliates want large death tolls, they don't aim for the legs- they aim for the chest/head.
  16. About the same time as when the conservatives start saying "If only everyone was allowed to carry bombs this would never have occurred." Dumb arguments all around. There's enough for everyone.
  17. My TV hasn't been on MSNBC since... well, probably since never. edit: scratch that. I like watching the prison show Lockup, and I think that plays on MSNBC. But as far as "news" I don't hardly ever watch any TV news anymore.
  18. Gaffes are not state secrets in a public forum. Btw it was Guam, not Okinawa.
  19. Jesus Fuckin' Christ... does she not see the damn cameras in the room? And she's on the Senate Intelligence Committee? Keep electing 'em tea partiers. I'm sure they'll do great things for us one day.
  20. I certainly hope this doesn't turn out to be domestic... too many things lining up to appear to be though. April 15th - Tax Day, Patriot Day, city where the Boston Tea Party occurred... I hope that's just my over active imagination putting a bunch of coincidences together.
  21. Thanks for your expert analysis.
  22. Curious- what are the chances Un actually wants to end tyrannical rule in NK and the only way he can successfully do that, without being thwarted from the inside, is by starting a war in which NK would quickly lose. Lose the war, lose your nation + all the old guard falls with it. That's giving the guy a lot or credit, but who knows what inner secrets this guy has floating in his head.
  23. So you think it's ok for a mod to change someone's post to something completely different than the original text, then when called out for it by other users on the site, completely erase any evidence of your douchebaggery. Nice standards.
  24. Hello I am Vertigo, I giant Douche.
