Talked the wife into watching it since she's a nurse and I thought she'd be interested in the medical aspect of it. Surprisingly she watched the whole thing and then told me to set up the dvr to tape the series.

The base I was at didn't have a commissary and no real Class 6 equivalent. They had a canteen, which did sell some liquor (don't recall it being any cheaper than off base) and if I remember correctly it was open to anyone that had access to the base... even civilians not associated with the military (i.e. delivery folks, etc).

Short answer: No Official passport use must coincide with official travel orders. Either you must be stationed in Australia or you must be traveling to Australia on orders for your official passport to be valid for travel.

One thing everyone is overlooking... How many women do you think really want these roles? I sincerely doubt there will now be a plethora of women throwing up their hands to volunteer. You'll get a few dozen, maybe a hundred... and 95% of them will quit before finishing training.
