Funny that you believed that internet hoax.

Getting your foot in the door and getting your name known as an enlisted guy before commissioning in the Guard will be an advantage. Put yourself in their shoes - who would you rather hire all things being equal: the guy that's already a member of the wing that has shown a commitment to the wing's mission and is known; or some dude off the streets no one knows?

Build them dorms to live in. Problem solved.

Great speech. Well sourced arguments. You are clearly a man with unlimited political potential.

I don't think that's how the Supreme Court operates... they don't just "step in" whenever they feel like it. A lawsuit in the lower courts has to occur first, then it goes to the appeals courts, and then onto the supreme court and then they hear the case ONLY if they feel it needs reviewed at their level.

You still wouldn't get laid.

I closed last week with Dave Devine at NBKC. Great communication and painless. I was more of a pain to him than anything in getting documents he needed. He saved me quite a bit in closing costs, knocked 3 years off my previous mortgage, lowered my interest rate, and got me $20K for a remodel while keeping my monthly payment within $5 of my previous loan.

It also, curiously, leaves out the pages that contains WHERE his income came from. Control the narrative by leaking only the sections that make you look good, and do it anonymously.

They have to reimburse up to the on base lodging rate per the JTR.

How are potential sales though? If hospitals have already bought Intuitive's console, why would they dump that to buy Titan's? Or is this such a new tech that not many hospitals have it yet so they sales potential is wide open?

This shut down was initiated way before the elections... I remember reading about the last annual meeting in September.

Kansas. I haven't had it appraised, but my current mortgage is at about 82% of the purchase price 10 years ago.

I will need to refi my mortgage once my divorce is finalized. Right now I have a conventional mortgage. Would changing to a VA for the refi be worth the VA funding fee or should I just stick with a conventional? I also want to explore the option of a cash out refi to remodel the kitchen. Anyone recommend some good lenders to work with for this? USAA's ratings on their website make me very leery to use them.

Title 10 backing up retirement pay
Vertigo replied to chizz's topic in Air National Guard / Air Force Reserves
The upside is your retirement points will dwarf other guardsmen's retirement points. You'll be drawing a much larger retirement check than those that were a traditional for their entire career. -
I'm pretty sure the question of whether or not a state could leave the union was answered in 1865.

Guard / Reserve with VA Disability (& VSP)
Vertigo replied to QueepFactory's topic in Air National Guard / Air Force Reserves
AGR here, but when I was a traditional I got a 10% rating. I remember one year when I did a temp tech tour the VA sent me a letter saying I had X amount of training days while I receiving a disability payment and they were going to pro-rate my next years payments to a lesser amount to reimburse them for the over payment. I'm not sure how it works out, but you aren't supposed to be getting a VA payment while performing active duty (which includes AT and title 10 orders). -
I'll eat my boots the day a Guard guy does a full pull. My wing is doing 30 day tour to a nice NATO base in Europe. Do you think those guys and jets are staying there the entire 30 days? Nope. Fucking swap out jet + "deployers" at the two week mark.

Yes! Thank you!

A long time ago someone posted a powerpoint presentation that was given during a retirement ceremony. If I remember right it was something along the lines of: Things I learned in the Air Force. It was a humorous presentation and essentially ended with something like "And everything can be briefed using Powerpoint, even a retirement" Does anyone have this ppt or can help me find the thread that had it? I UTFSF and google-fu to no avail.

Is Timmy Martin spearheading this?

Just curious if Clark Griswold has come out of his underground shelter in wake of the Ebola virus that nearly made our species extinct this past fall. It was a close one, but a few of us survivors have managed to rebuild society.

Considering the new jet won't be delivered for at least another 5 years, we have no idea who our President and what our foreign policies will be. But given our track record on foreign policy for the past 60 years, you're still probably right.
-
Totally agree. I'm not saying this jet is the be all end all. But you can't discount the upgrade in cargo capacity over the 135.
