  1. The key to the newer CBT's is to never try the "knowledge advancement" option, but to go click blindly through the whole thing. If you go to the advancement, it takes just as long, and you actually have to concentrate.

I have tried IE, Mozilla and Safari. Yeah, tons of new posts, but view new content button still does not work for me.

Dfresh, the only thing I am not able to use is the "view new content" option at the top right of any page. Just returns a "no new content found". Using safari with new iOS. Otherwise, it seems to be working great!!
  4. Sweet! Just gave learjetter a bogus negative vote (sorry dude) trying out the buttons. Good to have dislike back!

Seriously, Fresh, you should at least put your base in there so bros know where to buy the beer when they divert/RON/TDY. Thanks for all the work.
  6. Nah, the USMC only teaches people how to beat on their wives and kids... Oh, and get into bar fights. I'll stick where I am at. Nice first post.
  7. Just to clarify, I was never told to take off the hat. It was implied, but never stated. Weak leadership is the point... Grow some balls and pass the bad news.
  8. Very similar story to those above. Flying along with my fattie, went to the back to take a leak, and chief of OGV points at my lucky John Deere cap and says "The wing commander told me he didn't want people wearing those any more. I don't mind, but he does". My response was "oh really? I have never heard him say that and there has been no policy letter". I continued to wear my hat the rest of the flight... But others on the crew took off hats, patches etc because of fear from OGV guy. I dunno, call me crazy, but I was always taught that if the boss tells you to do something, it becomes your policy too... And you enforce it that way. "You can't wear your hat on this jet because I am the A code on this flight, and a Major. The wing commander does not Ike hats, and I don't either" or something to that effect. Am I crazy here? It seems more and more common to do it the former way. Weak.
  9. Thanks for the gouge! Here is the link: https://www.my.af.mil/gcss-af/USAF/AFP40/d/1075833355/Files/editorial/IRC%20Exam%20Feb%2007.doc Perhaps someone could update the link on the front page?
  10. Anyone have a current link to the IRC MQF? Not able to get to it via links provided. TIA!
  11. https://www.stopbadware.org/firefox?hl=en-US&url=http%253A%252F%252Fwww.flyingsquadron.com%252Fforums%252Findex.php Anyone who isn't stuck in a small Canadian town of 1,200 people for the week with barely an internet signal want to tackle this one? Firefox says this is the way to get it cleaned up. Looks like the problem is that Google has it flagged. Seems to me that until Google has it un-flagged, we are in a world of hurt.
  12. Someone here is ready to be awarded their TUI masters degree.
  13. Perhaps some time on the flight line around the SrA or SSgt fixing your jet would do you some good. Go on, hand him a tool or two. Ask some questions, have him show you some tricks he knows... He won't bite and you will walk away with a whole new attitude. Edit - because the more I read over your post, the more I believe this is perhaps the most asinine, elitist comment I have seen on here in a while.
  14. Any other service sends their Enlisted dudes in to the war first. In the Air Force, we send our Officers in while the enlisted dudes sit at home in the air conditioning. (Broad, generalized statement with exceptions, I know, but overall true)

    Cannon AFB

https://www.offutt.af.mil/library/biographies/bio.asp?id=16882 Some people just don't put it on their bio at all. (One year between usafa graduation and starting...ABM training). I especially appreciate the "aircraft flown" section here. /thread derail Cannon sucks

My guess is that Liquid will not comment on a standing wing commander. That being said, I did find #5 in his bio interdasting. 1. September 1992 - July 1993, C-130 and MC-130E Combat Talon Initial Mission Qualification, Little Rock AFB, Arkansas and Hurlburt Field, FL 3. July 1993 - January 1997, MC-130E Aircraft Commander and MC-130H Instructor Pilot, 1st Special Operations Squadron, Kadena AB, Japan 4. January 1997 - January 1998, MC-130H Instructor Pilot, 550th Special Operations Squadron, Kirtland AFB, NM 5. January - August 1998, Student F-15 Pilot, 2nd Fighter Squadron, Tyndall AFB, FL 6. 18. Agree. I can remember being able to buy hustler, penthouse, jugs, or any other smut mag at the bx in the 90s. I have a feeling they are now considering playboy and maxim "adult"
  19. Already done. Awaiting response, will report.
  20. Hummm While this all makes perfect sense, I figured he would go onto the board of directors at Mattel.
  21. Thread revival! Looks like Chuck and his new wife is trying to squeeze ever last red cent out of his legacy: https://www.chuckyeager.com/ Here you can get a personalized autograph from the man himself for the low, low price of $100!
  22. And this is different from UPT how?
  23. Why wouldn't they. I mean, the ability for the pilot to breath isn't a requirement on these jets either... Zing! P. S. it's satire. Learn to know the difference.
