    I suppose a lot us fit into that role, that is, something done directly help our fellow military peeps, be it giving gas at a critical point to dropping something to the ground and so on. Most us of didn't do the BIG thing that created victory, but maybe just helped save the day, 1 dude at a time. That might enough when you think of the little successes. Dwell too much on the losses and I understand that feeling of effort and sacrifice for nothing. This was a topic me and my pops, a Nam Marine, discussed once and only once.

    Dude, you just described EWR. PS. My use of the term dude is uni-whatever and applies to man/woman/it. Why do I say this? I read some AK/HI duking it out on APC and apparently, calling someone Dude was akin to a societal travesty. Surely we are more normal over here, right?

    Hate on other airfare stories I chalk up to friendly ball busting, mostly. Like a C5 calling out AAA in OIF, but was really shooting stars. Or the lawn darter SOF that called our ops to ask what our pilot category mins for takeoff were 😅 See, lots of silliness out there. I will 2nd the Army officer antics. Many were alright, but too many were downright conniving MFers. Right on, Orlando!

I would rather you say, neither one can articulate a single policy, and Trump really cannot articulate a single idea in a complete sentence.     I know votes will not change here, so how about this. Just like Lord R said a great post he read was an admission of being wrong, how about Trump voters admit they wish they didn't have him as the candidate and wished the Republican Party should have cut ties with him. Harris will likely be the same with the grown ups running things because, well, she's Harris.
