  1. Our entire SQ.. including maintenance.. have multicams now. Loadmasters love it, desk jockeys love it, pilots.. hit or miss. For pilots, its in the laundry rotation and when its clean it gets worn just like good ol' pajamas.
  2. Was my instructor at one point.. was a reservist or guard if I remember right. Awesome chick.
  3. Promptly followed by LZ closure due to rutting..
  4. Flying hours will be the same.. we fly SKE then Vis LL... then have time for assaults or pro after.. done in 4.0 hour sorties. It's not like they are going to have shorter sorties... so they'll do an IMC airdrop without a wing rather than SKE. Same exact profile.
  5. Question: for the H10-76XL... it's suppose to be an ENC model, but everything in the manual shows an additional 9V attachment with an on/off switch to activate the ENC. The only thing my headset came with was the duel plug adapter to plug into the plane. Does that also power the ENC? I haven't used them yet.. so just wondering until I finally get to fly again
  6. Pros: Her zipper is no less than half way down her name tag. Covers are on as they are outside. They didn't put camo on, as that would go against dress and appearance standards. Cons: Popped collar. BDUs and flight gloves? I am utterly shocked her commander hasn't corrected that abomination..two uniforms at once?! Disgusting. I would article 15 her ass in a heartbeat for that.

    USAA

The way I look at it.. the realtor gets money, I get money, USAA gets money.. it's a win win. I was referred a realtor in the area I was looking at by a guy in the area, then went to USAA and requested that agent with MoversAdvantage (she was USAA certified).. so I got to pick my realtor and I got a grand for it. It was a great deal.
  8. Ahem.. FP! //sarcasm
  9. True, they would definitely want to slap you. But it's a dog-eat-dog world...you've busted your ass to be #1 so keep the doors open. Apply for everything you desire then pick what you want, you earned that right.
  10. 1 board in the 60s, 1 in the 70s, 1 in the 80s, 6.9 in the 90s, 69 from 2000-present. If we are lucky they'll start holding monthly uniform boards.
  11. Waste of money. Complete glass cockpit? Unless they are getting 10 VRF hours followed by a CAT II ILS certification...completely unnecessary.
  12. Anyone have an update?
  13. Don't worry, we have the 22s to keep us save from ze russians and ze chinese... .... once they fix OBOGS.
  14. I just threw up in my mouth a little bit..
  15. I was a 38 turned J model guy.. hardest part, was that day or two figuring how to read a checklist and do it with another person. Next, shooting an ILS and twiddling your thumbs waiting for the DA.. Other than that, not bad at all.. great plane. Good times.
  16. I thought most airlines have side-loading gear?
  17. 'Auto-strafe' is going to make the A-10 obsolete (sarcasm)
