  1. Good point. Kind of like what the definition of "is" is.
  2. An update shows the FEMA employee has been fired. "Trump supporters are evil so therefore I'm doing this for the team" is the same mindset as the IRS employee and the other 3 letter organizations. That mindset is a direct result of the higher ups in the organization. This person would not have done this if she didn't think she would not suffer repercussions. I'm not sure how deep Trump can fire people to restore fair and objective thinking but he needs to use the biggest cutting implement he can get his orange hands on.
  3. Reminds me of the idiots arrested in Georgia protesting the police training facility referred to as "cop city.". Almost all the people arrested were from places far from Atlanta. Who pays for their traveling and lodging expenses? They obviously don't have a job if they can spend time playing protestor. The money is coming from somewhere to support the chaos.
  4. Same here. I'd like to see the data for Trump's Madison Square Garden rally. My mother told me that you are the company you keep. 6000+ Antifa/BLM/Pro-Palestinian protestors is not exactly good company.
  5. Project Warrior with it's focus on history and why is important to maintain capability and skill to kill people and break their stuff would have to overcome the DEI programs focus saying history is bad and killing people and breaking their stuff doesn't rate in the Top 5 mission statements. But I agree, it was a great program. I remember attending a Daedalians gathering at Columbus. This 90 year old guy gets up and says he was the original FAIP in 1917( -ish) and was teaching guys to fly in France before moving into a combat squadron and going up against the Germans. Definitely inspiring.

Didn't matter in 2016, didn't matter in 2020, but now, she just has to get this information out.....riiiigghhhht.
  7. Iron Dome is for smaller threats, David's Sling for medium range threats, and The Arrow for longer range threats. Google says the latter two were developed in the U.S. How all that worked against the Iranian missiles, I have no idea.
  8. No matter F-35 delivered munition or 2 month prior delivery by Amazon, doesn't matter. What does matter is Iran was known as the safest of havens for terrorists and one of the Hamas leaders took the room temperature challenge and lost in Tehran. Israel has fully implemented the FO part of FAFO much to the dismay of the surviving dirtbags. Hopefully, more Hamas barbarians will get the invitation to meet Allah.
  9. If I sent word out through informal channels to Sq CCs, DOs and Weapons shops that too many pilots are pressing weapons abort criteria, buffoning instrument procedures or failing to comply with published regs regarding wearing rings and then I show up on an announced check ride only to find pilots are pressing weapons abort criteria, buffoning instrument procedures, and failing to comply with published regs regarding wearing rings, I'd have no problem complying with checkride grade criteria and grading appropriately.
  10. Anybody want to make Veepstakes predictions? I'm guessing Gov. Shapiro from PA.
  11. Reminds me of the cold war days with the USSR when the various leaders disappeared from sight and Pravda said they were in good health to they are taking a break to they have a minor illness to they have a major illness to they are dead. Gorbachev was the first to walk away vs being carried out in a box. Democrats have always admired communists and long for the good old days.
  12. Sitting in a car and getting surprised with a gunman at your window then shooting sideways from a seated position probably doesn't duplicate the typical range scenario. I doubt he got the gunsights to eye level. As a former FFDO, we did seated training like shooting around or over a seat and it ain't accurate like range work doing head shots.
  13. Look up journalist Sheryl Attkisson and the sketchy stuff that was uploaded on her computers by a suspected 3 letter agency because of her reporting during the Obama administration.
  14. The senior in the seat thing is great. I flew an AKL trip with a new CA (also Check Airman getting his 100 hours) and he said senior FOs should bid narrow body CA to share knowledge, experience, etc. My response was hell no. No point in suffering needlessly when you can get the vacation and flying schedule you want and only work 9 days a month.
  15. Article on Fauci, COVID, and big pharma. https://tomklingenstein.com/fauci-was-just-a-symptom/
  16. Looks like there are several Bird in Hand pubs in the U.K. Lived upstairs in this one for a month in Henlow Camp. https://maps.app.goo.gl/G3bn3gK8Uk9eM32h9?g_st=com.google.maps.preview.copy
  17. Conveniently, any possible charges for tax issues and foreign lobbying were allowed to expire due to statute of limitations so the potential major embarrassing legal problems are a problem no more.
  18. Big difference between "when I was young" geezer tales from 3 decades ago vs 3 years ago and everyone who has been buying groceries knows that difference.
  19. That's my opinion. Just get a conviction for anything regardless of whatever rule or procedure has to be bent BEFORE the election knowing that an appeals court will likely throw it out. Just watched "Empire of Terror" on Daily Wire. It's a series by Bill Whittle documenting the rise of communism in Russia. Complete disregard of a fair judicial system was a hallmark of that process..... So we have that going for us.
  20. Chuck Norris doesn't use the GAU-8. He round house kicks the cannon rounds through armor.
  21. After 4000 hours of military flying and 14,000(?) hours of commercial flying stretched over 39 years, I'm still not bored and wondering what I'm going to do when I finally grow up and have to get a real job.
  22. It she is in command of anyone, she shouldn't be. https://townhall.com/tipsheet/rebeccadowns/2024/04/22/minnesota-state-sen-arrested-for-burglary-raising-big-implications-over-razor-thin-majority-n2638133

  24. I flew part of the a Patriot battalion back from the middle east on a CRAF mission. They were the ones that shot down a Tornado and a Hornet. Had a long conversation with battalion exec about that stupidity. Target ID needed improvement.
  25. During my sentence...I mean tour... As an ALO with an armor battalion, I was having a conversation with one off the air defense guys and he proudly stated that the AD folks could visually ID 67% of all aircraft. I guess the other 33% are screwed.
