That's almost as good as Guam tipping over.

If some Enlisted dude gets crushed, I better see some of the pilot influencers get crushed. I miss hazing.

I wonder if they can get a rubber mallet out and get it flying again by 2nd go like a Tweet.

Does anyone live in Tuscaloosa and teach at Columbus? How is that drive?

I'd say alot of things TSA does are counter to intelligence.

Lots of interesting Big Safari history out there but one of my favorites is "Poobah's Party" from Gulf War 1. Took a bunch of retired Army short range nuclear cruise missile type done things and modified them to basically be a bunch of MALD. They got the Iraqi IADS (KARI) to illuminate and were subsequently schwacked by the good guy SEAD players. Pretty awesome story.

This thing is really confusing me. I don't doubt that these people are all getting seriously fucked up. But the official position has been crickets and natural causes? WTF is the actual answer on this crap. Or is this the next generation in upping your disability rating? I'm personally going the Navy Chief route and gaining 250 pounds, getting sleep apnea from morbid obesity, and earning my 100% disability but this is creative.

Does “wife bitching” and “it’s Del Rio” count as hardship? -
Info on BAH (Basic Allowance for Housing)

Is there an option if you geo-Bach to keep the BAH at your old spot where your family stays? E.G. I get orders to Laughlin but family stays in Denver, can we keep the Denver BAH? -
I remember doing BFM with my feet flat on the floor in the C model B course and needed to move the nose an RCH to the right but couldn’t lift my feet off the floor. So close yet so far away. RC - Weak Calves.

That's really surprising to me that a Captain would still have minima outside of the plate. Is it just a time in type thing? Is that FAA or company?
-
This plate is funny. The Gettysburg Address is there in the notes but the whole "Autopilot couple approach NA" is buried. The other thing that sounded interesting to me was Brickyard saying they couldn't operate below 4000 RVR (minima on the plate) but they say if you have a HUD or Flight Director you can get down to 2400. I find it hard to believe there isn't a FD on any airliner operating domestically now. Bad thought? For the actual video, I'm pretty sure the pilots had zero SA on where they actually were on that 2nd approach. Tower saved the day, big time. That's another interesting conundrum on a second approach after going missed on the first one. Nothing new had to be set up and just tried the same again. I'd be very interested to get a read out on this one (which I won't, but it'll be interesting).

This is the same thing as canceling IFR ASAP and coming back VFR and absolutely gumming up the radios because you have now screwed up everything for the major airports surrounding your base. We are getting old!
-
It has multiple stop lights and no grain elevators. Ergo, fancy as hell.

I’m a simple Midwesterner and don’t know much about your fancy Northeast liberal cities, but how big of a deal is that bridge coming down?
-
Much less involved than other communities. Usually go to the ops desk and write down your speeds and bug those IAW v3 guidance. There are calculators and such but in terms of mission planning, it’s not a big part of it. W&B is even less of a thought. You’ll only fly in approved stores load outs that are good so that’s not much of a thought either. My data is old but I very much doubt that’s changed in the last few years.

We recently had a mod that we had to go to a dinky airport in New Jersey where you got your IFR clearance by calling McGuire on the phone at the end of the runway. Of course the guy I call is maybe an English 4th language type and about all I understood was "clearance void if not off the ground in 2 minutes" I just took off and turned toward what I thought was the VOR he said to go toward. Seemed to work out.
-
Yup that’s what queued me in. We taxied a bit then slowed suspiciously then made a 180 and back the same route to the other runway. I do have to admit that Watertown, SD is up there with O’hare in complex taxiing so I’ll cut them some slack.

I’ll tell you that if the AF wants more talented leaders they need to stop focusing on exec, aide, PME etc and actually pay attention beyond the spreadsheet of who has leadership talent and who doesn’t.

I recently was flying on Denver Air Connection and the pilots got lost on the ground lol. Easy mistake that I'm sure no one else caught but I couldn't help but laugh. And those ladies had at least 750 for restricted ATP's.

Just make sure they bring halal noodles and wonton soup.

That block of jets being retired has become so different over the years that they are basically a logistics anchor on the entire fleet. And bringing them up to the rest of the fleet is cost prohibitive so something’s gotta give.

Watch this and remediate all this gay shit I keep reading.

You’ll need a $100k bonus to pay for the psychological damage of going to Envoy from the AF.

Good Lord that’s a lot of T-6 FAIPs.
