I had a girl in my flight that was 3 months from pinning on Captain and she got sent there. The reason she was given was that it was PME and it doesn't look good when you go up for Major if you hadn't attended. Don't shoot the messenger on this one, that's just what I was told from her.

This should maybe go in the "Dumbass questions" thread, but do dudes at ENJJPT wear blues until they pass the first boldface test like at some other bases? I ask because I was talking with an EN IP a month or so ago and he said when he showed up back in '04, he got his bag on the second day he was there.
