Seems anecdotal. SEC is 10-5 against non-conference this year. No other conference has a non-conference record even close. Four ACC v SEC games coming up in a week. SEC probably goes 3-1, making them 13-6 for the year against non-conference. I think that's convincing enough to underweight their conference losses when picking playoff teams.

I tried the same concept, but with a CMMG Banshee - also a roller delayed blowback. The recoil was much more uncomfortable than I expected. It just wasn't fun to shoot. (It was also totally unreliable suppressed, but that's immaterial since you didn't ask about the Banshee.) I instead went with a 9" BCM 300BO pistol and a suppressor shooting 190gr subsonics and I'm mucho happier. The ballistics are effectively identical to 45 ACP at get-the-f-out-of-my-house ranges and it shoots oh so sweet. I also added a Superlative adjustable gas block that only made it that much sweeter with subs. I love my 45 handguns. I'm waiting on a G30.5 right now. But for a rifle/pcc/subgun platform in this power category, 300BO is my hands down choice.

Surprised you still check your America Online email!

Federalism died a long time ago. Maybe it can be restored but I doubt it.

I do enjoy the lack of basic proofreading from the world's greatest air force.

No, this is PAO's release.

I just saw her reply to that implication with a grin and “He’s making choices.”

You need 218 for a majority. 270towin has called several of those, putting Rs at 219. The only ones they've not called are AK and 5 in CA.

I'm probably jaded but I keep reading "fired from her position." Is she still on FEMA payroll and just not in her previous position until the news cycle moves on? I sure hope not.

I think this is a large part of it. (https://www.brookings.edu/articles/voting-by-mail-in-a-pandemic-a-state-by-state-scorecard/) States were awarded higher grades on this graphic for "Voters automatically receive a ballot" and "Ballot does not require a witness signature." They were docked points for "Voters are required to provide a copy of photo ID for the mail application and/or ballot." I see a lot of left leaning As and Bs and a lot of right leaning Fs and Ds. 2020 Electoral College for comparison

DoD gives Khalid Sheikh Mohammed a plea deal.

I guess you see those as comparable... I don't think a case 23-years in the making is the same as announcing the death of an 87 year old a couple hours prior. -

Do you think he was actually unaware of the plea deal? I find it hard to believe SecDef was not briefed routinely about a case this big. I think he knew about and blessed the plea deal and his revocation is purely a reaction to public sentiment 94 days before an election. -
Israel has proven their honey badger cred more than once - these two probably aren't the last time.

I’m making 30% less and working 90% less at 69% WB FO than 8% NB FO. So far this year I haven’t had problems making my schedule work, but I definitely didn’t get the vacation I wanted off the bat.

At least that'll be less wasteful than the Afghan C-130 crews we trained.

They can also be an incredible ally in one of the hardest years of your life. Certainly I've seen them be a drain - and that couple usually ends up divorced. My wife of 20+ years was with me before and through UPT and she made my life during training infinitely easier and more comfortable. She also found a part time job so she wasn't cooped up in the house all day just waiting on formal release. To CaptainMorgan's point... we weren't complete newly weds and it would have been more shocking to go from honeymoon to UPT in days instead of months. That's fine. And I agree 100% - don't let your Tinder/Insta/Grindr/Bumble/Farmers Only flings distract you. But my only advice is don't be so closed minded that if the right one drops into your life that you ignore her for the wrong reasons.

Watchtower. I'm running generic Ubuntu, not Synology, and it looks like Synology might require a few extra hoops, but apparently it can be done. https://mariushosting.com/synology-30-second-watchtower-install-using-task-scheduler-docker/

I like how you use 300k as your example on which to base your math. Of course if you low ball it or use new hires, your math looks right. 300k is an 82 hour monthly average for a WB FO or 69 hour monthly average for a NB CA. 82 hours is hardly hustling or playing the games and 69 hours is coasting (not that there’s anything wrong with that!) But man, you do you and keep training those financially illiterate pilots.
