    The rack and stack will happen at the Central Selection Board this year, prior to the DTs getting the nominations. If selects have been sitting on their ass knowing they are going to school versus candidates that have been trying to prove they should get the opportunity, then selects may miss out on those "better" schools. DTs will still vector towards a school, but I'm not sure how much that will factor in when the rack and stack has already occurred.

    I stand corrected. I figured since one of the first questions after a board is usually "What was the promotion rate?", that it was another game of Big Blue playing I have a secret.

    Are you saying that the promotion rate for the board that hasn't even met is going to be 84%? I'm pretty sure they don't release what the promotion rate is going to be prior to the board. The CY14 promotion rate was 67% and I believe the DP allocation rate was 55%. The promotion rate for CY13 was 74%.

    The amount of DPs that don't get promoted is less than 0.5%. Most of the time when an individual isn't promoted with a DP, it is because a SR is trying to game the system to get that borderline person promoted.

    End of FY14 Retention Report up on Myers. 53% take rate. Edit: 59% if you don't include all those individuals that separated voluntarily under the FM programs. Still the lowest it's been since FY02.

    New updated numbers today. 1 FY14 pkg and 5 FY15 pkgs finalized over the past 2 weeks. Still sitting at just over 53% take rate. FYI, last year's take rate was 68%. Last time it was below 65% was FY02. I know it's not over until it's over, but come on.

    I believe it was changed a year or two ago that their performance reports would routed through the WYANG. Their PRFs still go through the 19th though. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

    Side by side comparison of last year's board compared to this years. Roughly the same amount of people in the zone, but far less DPs given out and as already talked about, a 7% decrease in promotion rate.

    In the 314th? That's weird, because I know guys who were in a 17% category in his wing that got promoted. Perhaps you are thinking of the 19th?
