I am getting ready to pcs to a new base with a TDY en-route. Does anyone know if I will still get BAH as a single guy while I'm at my TDY? Finance at LRAFB is saying yes Kirtland Finance is saying no and i am getting mixed answers from everyone else? Would anyone happen to know the reg that this is in or have any experience with this?

I just finished up JMATS and am getting ready to head to Kirtland for MC-Js, Rumor has it that the school house is pretty backed up. Does anyone have any info on it or is it just a rumor?

I was also told that I would make captain during the promotion board even though I only had 2 training reports to my name and being in the MAF for only four months before the board met. Imagine my surprise when I was in Afghanistan and found out I got passed over. Until I see this I am going to keep working on correspondence until I am told to stop or see this in a regulation somewhere and not from the some source being a poorly quoted Air Force News article

The caveat to that it's a restricted ATP it limits you to right seat operations in a type aircraft. This was how it was explained to me by Mr D'Angelo, the FSDO out at LRF
