Track Selects and Assignment Nights
Only for UPT. I know they are dropping in the VML for a select few unlucky souls. Something to the effect of 11Hs need to pay the piper.

Drone Pilots: We Don’t Get No Respect
Why can't the Army conduct split ops and help the fight from CONUS?

Drone Pilots: We Don’t Get No Respect
Is there an age limit for the 18Xers like there is for UPT?

F-35 Lightning info
Two piece flight suits are legit, especially when wearing armor in a helicopter with no air-conditioning. Or for the sweaties when they're pre-flighting or loading cargo so they can take off their blouse instead of tying their flight suit around their waist and risk getting yelled at by SMSgt Dicks-a-lot.

History Friday
The same control stick grip from the F-86 is used in the Huey....70 years after the fact.

Information on PCS/moves/moving (DITY, TMO, DLA, storage)
WTFO dude? Unless my sarcasm detector is A3 you need to slow your roll. Do the Skype thing like everybody else. It's only a year.

Laughlin AFB info
The new houses at Columbus have garages. If you get in the old (most studs do) you'll have a carport.

Track Selects and Assignment Nights
It probably has to do with how they're utilized (ie unit owned vs COCOM). There was a post on the Army's UAV control a couple months back but I can't find it.

ANG: Be Careful What You Ask For
The difference with the fighters is that they are all that's left of ADC. The alert mission is a valid one. I don't think flying a B-2 is. Can the Missouri governor even mobilize them for state missions? Ferguson would really need to be rioting for that to make sense.

ANG: Be Careful What You Ask For
What caused the ANG to shift from its ye olde CONUS defense mission of yesteryear? It seems weird to me that the state militias of old have A-10s. How would a state governor (reasonibly) ever use them to help his state? C-130s and interceptors fine, maybe even tankers since they could help with other CONUS missions. Was there an "Ah-ha!" moment or was it a gradual iron/mission shift?

SADL Vipers
It's great in the 60 for keeping track of your wingman on low illum nights and for sending/receiving 12.6 or 28.2s. Most ground stuff we just plot on the map.

Info on flight boots
They are approved for flight. Pretty much all of rescue wears them. The approval for everything not on the official STF letters is MAJCOM level. The STF letters are found on the Air Force Uniform Office's portal page.

Aviation Continuation Pay (ACP - The Bonus)
Stop hating the sound of freedom getting some NVG hours. Also wait until the summer when the land times are close to 0100 due to the EECT not being until almost 2230.

Mass ANG F15C Crash
They moved the AIBs to the FOIA page. Edit: The full AIBs were moved. I have no idea about the summaries.

Aviation Continuation Pay (ACP - The Bonus)
Vandenberg shut down in 08. Also Malmstrom is the best thing going in Hueys IMO. Especially with the current leadership and no alert.

Aviation Continuation Pay (ACP - The Bonus)
I feel that the Huey take rates are driving up the numbers a bit as well. Time away from family (outside of alert) is pretty low and deployments are hard to come by now that the Mi-17 gigs are slowing down. IMO those combine to make a high job satisfaction and high retention rates.

F-35 Lightning info
Every aircraft other than the F-16 (and the 15SG) have had a single engine. Nobody complained when the F-4 only had the J79 available. It's a political move. The F136 would have had teething problems as well.
