I heard through the grapevine that one of the test aircraft had a departure from controlled flight due to the 105 that has delayed flight testing quite a bit.
The H-1s have gotten approval from the SPO for iPad minis. Works a lot better in the small cockpits that don't have a lot of legroom at full control deflection. Hopefully they can piggyback on the previous efforts.
Everything should be available though epubs, the JTS site, and ETIMS. FLIP can be had through the NGA website but ForeFlight is much more user friendly (and only available through the Apple Store).
Global Strikes EFBs are maintained by the squadrons. The comm squadron doesn't do anything other than have then on the ADPE letter. It's similar to the PFPS network. If they're like every other EFB I've heard if then they are not to be connected to AFNET which should save you a bunch of time and energy because they shouldn't be your problem.
Are there enough targets to justify more sorties? I'm sure the BUFF guys are itching to get back in the fight. Load them up with a 48 M117s and have a ball.
Also the WHMO will be intimately involved. Look at the now-cancelled VH-71 program for evidence of requirements creep even more egregious than the F-35.
Then file a missed meal form if you're really frosty. You'll get the proportional rate for every day you can't go to the chow hall due to work.
At the 58 SOW the CC just signed an MFR and it was included in the welcome packet.
Has anybody ever done the Air Force Excellence in Competition matches? A couple CMP matches here peaked my interest in service rifle competition and I thought it looked like a great way to burn ammo on the gov'ts dime while potentially getting an OPR bullet/uniform bling.
