  1. Sorry... Not sure of YG, but all brand new Majors and senior Captains. Most had no ADSC or only a couple months worth.
  2. 5 VSPs here in the U-2 world today. Begin conjecturing...NOW.
  3. I don't know what obduracy is, but I don't like it!
  4. Mine was VC until approval. Now it says "approved." At least it did yesterday. Unbelievable to hear about folks getting the "oops, our bad" message from AFPC.
  5. Hear that, AFPC? UPWARD. Keep trying.
  6. Cool! Haven't gotten the email yet. Edit: BAM! Just got it!
  7. TERA I'm a selectively continued major, 11R (U-2), '98, no QFRB. I'll be 16 yrs + 1 month in Aug.
  8. DoS of 31 Jul 14 just appeared on my CDB, along with a RNLTD of 1 Aug 2014 in the RESTRICTIONS section above it. It appears the cake may not be a lie! BRB, gotta go run around the parking lot with my junk out.
  9. Actually, it's "BODN". Sorry, couldn't help myself.
  10. Note the wording of #5: "PLANNING to BEGIN..." Look out boys, the rules are changing again!
  11. FWIW, I liked the "hurtful words" thing. Don't agree with the statement that followed, but that's cool too. Agreed with Bender. "Back to business."
  12. Damn glad to hear it, brother. I got responses too, but they were non-answer answers. Very frustrating.
  13. Bender, gearpig, and BeerMan- Though I've only been posting on this forum for a couple months, I've been reading along for years. I've usually found your opinions and insights well thought out. Today I'm surprised to see such ignorance from you. A guy comes on here and says he's been pushed to the brink, and your response was to call him names and accuse him of resorting to "melodrama" (BTW, it's one word, BM). If your responses indicate the way in which you actually approach leadership and officership, then I pity and hapless soul who might be under your command. Do you have ANY idea what mbh's story is? Did you ask? Or did you take advantage of someone who's struggling with life and the AF in order to presume to grandstand and impress all of us lesser officers with your divine leadership philosophy? Thank God this medium allows you to type out your thoughts for the rest of us, because if you had to speak them aloud the only noise would be the sound of gurgling General semen. Get off your high horses and consider whether perhaps thinking like yours is part of the problem.
  14. Yeah, you can add your personal email so they send updates to that. I'm sure they had it coming. Also, good call kicking the dog first. That way the wife takes you seriously and you don't get any lip. Well done.
  15. Awesome. Just got the "quit bugging us" message from mypers. I knew it was coming, but still thought "maybe this is it" as I opened the email. I'm going to go choke myself for being stupid now.
  16. Amazing story. God speed, Admiral.
  17. Wow. Just. Wow. This is a new low for the TERA adventure. I hope it's just that it's darkest before the dawn?
  18. Altus, get back here dammit! What is your AFSC? Shit. He's already at McDonald's getting free refills on his coffee, isn't he...
  19. Nothing useful to contribute at the moment. Just noticed I had 49 posts. BAM! Crew Dawg! That is all. No need to make a big fuss. Send gift cards and beer if you wish to AFPC. I'll pick 'em up when I swing by to wave my pecker at 'em through the window. BTW, anyone know what floor Retirements and Separations is on? I need to know if I'll have to rent a cherry picker.
  20. There's now a post on the Facebook page from an officer with 17 years. She's a 41A, whatever that is. Apparently, she got an email saying that her application is on hold due to her 1-yr ADSC. According to her post, her ADSC was listed as waiverable in the PSDM. Perhaps this means that ADSC is indeed a major factor in consideration, as was originally prognosticated..
  21. Yup. Mine showed up last week. 1 July 1998.
  22. Do we currently have any worth their stars? Welsh excepted, I guess. Sad that dude only has limited ability to enact change due to the entrenched shoe-promoting culture.
  23. It's "Air Force Retirement 2014".
