I was at HRT for thirty one years, I did do two years with the 1st SOS so technically 29. Twenty one on AD and ten as a contractor. I witnessed everything I liked about that place slowly fade away. I guess I'm one of the crazies that like Cannon better. I do live 35 miles from the base.

We still run guys through stall recovery in the AC-W sim. Pilots who have done it during test flights say the sim duplicates it pretty well.

Got two full freezers, one for pork and the other for beef that we raised here on our place. We make our own bacon, corned beef and pastrami, plus we render the pork fat to make lard. Fresh out of Basic going through tech school in Denver (Lowery) spent a weekend in Breckenridge with a wild ass chick I hooked up with. Monday morning in the shower some dudes are like "hey studley, have a good weekend?". I didn't know what they were talking about. Went to the mirror and had bite marks and hickeys on my chest and neck, turned around and it looked liked I had been whipped. I didn't feel any of that when it was happening. Let me tell you, I wore that shit like a badge of honor!

I feel lucky that I flew on these for awhile. The Fulton pickups were a hoot even though i didn't do any live ones.

Article doesn't say what attitude the plane was in when it touched down. Wondering about a right closed pattern with #4 shut down and possible problems with #3. The article states on #3 "two blades appeared in a position between low pitch and feather", that's where they're supposed to be, the other blade position near feather would mean some sort of material failure.
