So just offer 10 days of 'marriage leave' or 'honeymoon leave' to anybody that gets married, regardless of orientation. I'm sure there are lots of hetero couples that would like to travel home for their weddings to be married in the presence of friends and family. After all, if we're striving for equality, shouldn't the rules apply to everyone?
So, what's the fix? Stop loss? Recall previous fighter guys from RPA's, white jet, ALO, etc? Send former T38 studs from the 'cockpit shortage' years to IFF? Increase UPT throughput? Continuation incentives?
Perhaps picking by location could be considered shortsighted, but picking something that has all good locations isn't a bad plan. Also, the mission you think you want out of UPT could be very different than the one you love (or are interested in doing) a few years afterward.
It all starts with the PCM recommendation, which is obviously much easier to do with an on-base pediatrician. Militaryonesource is a good place to start reading and learning.
Really? Explosives? I can't believe they did this for a non-expedient relocation. Did they not realize that bolts can be removed with wrenches? Or at worst case, saws? This seems like really needless destruction, or perhaps somebody just wanted to have fun.
Good read. Thanks. Whomever wrote this policy is obviously trying to apply occupational therapy standards to Autism. It doesn't work that way. Hopefully they revoke this quickly or congress gets involved.
