DTI extreme 316's available in Clovis for $1200 now. Prices are finally starting to be closer to normal.
  2. Shouldn't hurt you. Best part would be not having to worry about advanced academic degrees when you should be focusing on flying. Worst part would be the risk of ending up with the callsign 'doc'.

One of my favorite handguns is my T33 so I buy the x25 all the time. It usually runs me around $26 for a box of 50 and I never have trouble finding it, even recently. Heck, the BX here got 6 boxes in just this last week for around that price.
  4. Besides, if you turn off your computer at night, how can they make you do those 30 second forced restarts?
  5. I heard that after Rainman melted all of the barrels in his GAU-8 he just retracted the canopy and started throwing 30mm at the enemy. The Romans surrendered immediately.
  6. Rainman doesn't need to get a time hack. He just picks a number and time hacks.
  7. Why bother with a tug when you can hand push it out. That way you save money on the tug and the taxi while getting PT at the same time.
  8. RPA's are hiring.
  9. It is much better to come clean about any kind of legal stuff early and explain how you've improved your decision making since then. Even if you can't find it, the investigators will.

Just don't post a picture of your kid holding it on Facebook. That 25 round 'clip' automatically turns it into an assault rifle.
  11. Fair enough. Just something to keep in the crosscheck. I've seen a few people get box checker MBA's on AD with the intent of springboarding their civilian career by getting a 'real' MBA when they get out. Not a bad plan, but I try to steer folks to other box checker degrees if their after-AD plans include an MBA.
  12. I'd like to know if you think the AFCAM placement is appropriate.

  14. An outstanding suggestion. IMHO something we don't do enough for our support Airmen to help them understand the mission.

If they do that, I'd like to see a standardized price for FFL transfers. I've seen everything from free (military special deal in the Sheppard area) to $75. It would be nice if there was a set price of $15 or so for an FFL enabled transaction (internet or private). But then, I already like using an FFL for private transfers so it is recorded somewhere and there is a way to prove what you own (or lack of ownership).
  16. True until this line. Most quality MBA programs will not let you in if you already have an MBA. Getting a crappy MBA burns that bridge.
  17. Those donkeys are vicious. Have you seen the pics of the car they mangled a few months ago?

Sen Dianne Feinstein concedes defeat as Sen Harry Reid withdraws assault weapons ban.
  19. You've gotta watch those speeding tickets. At a certain number, you require a moral waiver. At another number, you are no longer eligible to join the AF.

1000 rd bulk box of 5.56 for $860. Lake City brass casing/steel core. 33 in stock right now.
  21. Dang Spoo, my computer froze with just the picture with your signature block below. Funny thing is that it worked so well, I thought that it was what you'd posted...
  22. I don't see why they shouldn't. Every enlisted tech school course gives some amount of CCAF credit. When I first came in, I got 42 hours of undergrad credit for my 8 month school. There really shouldn't be a problem with AU or AFIT doing a course equivalency review on the various schools and providing transcripted credit for the equivalent courses/hours completed. Some of the longer schools may even provide sufficient credit equivalency to meet the requirements for a degree.
  23. Probably not too tough. Just have AU or AFIT create a 'companion' online program that matches and complements the UPT curriculum. I actually like the idea, but it would be seen as another 'unfair' pilot bennie by the nonrated side.
  24. I stand by my assessment that this is far better (and free) advertising for Chevy than for Pepsi. Doesn't matter if it was no more real than the latest Spiderman movie. The production quality made it seem genuine. Far more men (and even more teenage boys) will walk away from watching that thinking "I want a Camaro" than "I'm thirsty for a Pepsi."
  25. And loads of enthusiasm!
