  2. True. And there is 0% income tax (TX) versus 8.82% (NY). Plus the difference in how much house you get for the money makes it a big difference in TX over NY

  11. But A3s slides said there would be no risk for shortening the B-Course! The reality is that like you said, HAF has accepted the risk. There will be another accident with fatalities after bending some metal, upper management will shrug their shoulders and nothing will change. Yet their OPRs will probably be pretty darn good I'm guessing

  16. Weezer, in the CAF if you are out of the jet for a prolonged time or don't fly consistently to RAP(8-10 sorties depending on experience) or beyond you will lose your tactical proficiency. Hence why squadrons generally have to assign an experienced IP to the O-7+ pilots that want to go fly. A lot of times the O-6s and some command bound attached O-5s need a seeing eye Captain to keep things legit or to just mission plan.

  19. I'll just add what the ACC A3 said 7 years ago, they "will accept the risks." However, the current slides going up about the risks for cutting short B-Course said there was no risk from the change. That's your upper management working for you

  21. Got to add that you can sell the LAAR to the fuzzies and let them fight their own battles. Really tough to sell them US RPA technology, though they just buy em from China anyways
