Some people are quite dumb - It's not the "fan base," it's one person. It's easy to get caught up in the games, and to be fair football is probably an escape for most people. But at the end of the day, it's just football. (I do remember my entire weekend being ruined when the playoff committee left FSU out a couple years ago. And to be fair, I was angry until we started losing routinely the following season.)

I've listened to eight unbiased CFB podcasts and every single one of them said that was not a hold on the first Hail Mary - On3, Josh Pate, etc.... The vast majority said they couldn't really tell WRT the INT. There needs to be a way where the refs signal they don't know and just go straight to the video because guessing at a ruling from the field places an undue burden overturning a potentially bad call. There shouldn't have been an INT. There should've been a 2 point conversion attempt post the first TD.

I hear that next year they are going to a 24 team playoff. I miss the BCS era where the entire season was the playoff. Conference championships were something to be proud of. Now it only matters if you win it all.

I aspire to be a fired D1 CFB coach. We can't afford not to fire him. Football is the only sport that provides revenue. The longer we wait the longer it'll take to recover. You and I both know FSU is a tier 1 program. He isn't a good recruiter. What I've seen is an average coach can be "incredible" if he is an incredible recruiter.

Yes, norvell is a poor HC. He did well in 2022 and 2023 because of Jordan Travis. Looking forward to seeing him go. Glad I started to attend USC last year so I can still enjoy CFB and not be miserable in the Fall. Miami looks really solid. Texas, OSU, UGA as well. I wouldn't be surprised if Texas and OSU see each other again in the playoffs.

Under two weeks to go. I read an interesting article that reported the NIL spending of all the programs in P4. Miami, OSU, Oregon, Texas, TAMU, and LSU are all over $40m a year. USC is over $30m and FSU and Clemson are over $20m.

I'm pretty tied into the community and this is not accurate.

I can’t explain that, because I don’t know. What I do know is as follows: 1) We have an artificially higher gas tax, by a significant amount. I don’t know why because our roads are terrible and they’re turning them into bike lanes. 2) My electricity rates are increased at a rate that is greater than the advertised rate of inflation (but are likely what actual inflation rates are.) 3) Trash fees, which were previously apart of property tax, just became an additional fee of $600/year. 4) $19,000 a year in state income tax at roughly $300k a year. 5) 1% property tax on a $1m home (median) is a lot. Plus community taxes. 6) We’ve created the fastest high speed rail… That doesn’t exist. 7) Probably lots of “Learing” Centers.

I love California and hate who/how the state is run. I have a beautiful home in San Diego that overlooks the airport, bay, and North Island... And we've had my wife's car broken into once and a homeless man come onto my patio, steal her shoes and a weightlifting belt I had on my squat rack. We also have a really nice property six hours North of San Francisco where the only things you run into are deer, black bears, and mountain lions. I agree that California is probably the most diversely beautiful state. I just wish that it wasn't controlled by the Bay Area and LA populace. I'm hopeful that people are waking up. Spencer Pratt's Mayoral campaign seems to be going quite well. Can he win? I don't know, but I hope that he does.
