Don't be so sure...AF standards are stricter than FAA standards. I know a guy who got a PPL paid for by the AF, then was DQ'd for a weird eye thing at Brooks.
I think the point is just because people didn't die on the OAIX incident doesn't mean those guys should be made fun of every opportunity, while the WY incident is taboo because people died. Pilot error is pilot error, consequences notwithstanding.
quick question...read through the DoD reg and couldn't find anything. is it local time or zulu time for being "in country?"
