  1. Pulling out of NATO is a very intriguing idea. I’m not opposed to you there.
  2. And you’re a nav. jk pawnman. Mad respect for flying your whole career from me.
  3. Oops. Where’s that AP “fact checking” now. the gig is up. The “experts” were wrong. All vax mandates need to be demolished. All vax passports (I still cannot believe some of you crossed that bridge) need to be removed.
  4. good point. before going we need absolutely clear, achievable, worthwhile political objectives. i'm having a hard time thinking back in history and finding "limited wars" that were successful. The most successful warfare is total. it's an uncomfortable thing to ponder, but the proof is in the pudding.
  5. which is why i wouldn't fight them. I'm saying the next time we decide to fight, its fight to win. that calculus would help prevent mindless half hearted, "endless" wars. but if russia does decide to attack NATO, and we decide to fight back, its all out.
  6. great post. i wanna add #4. 4. If we commit...we commit. No bull shit ROE. Total war, gloves off, unleash the devils to annihilate the enemy. Annihilate. Not win hearts and minds. Total devastation and destruction of the enemy. I think Korea, Vietnam, Gulf War 1 (not finishing the job all the way to Baghdad), and the GWOT have taught us that "police actions/limited wars" are not successful endeavors. If we fight we fight to win with 100% of our effort.
  7. the risk factors of covid are highly correlated to age group and co-morbitities. if you are young and healthy your risk is statistically proven to be VERY low. let people accept that and move on with their lives. if you're a high risk demographic...get the vax, and stay home. easy. none of the "mitigation" factors have done anything to "stop the spread". that has been proven. Good intentions (maybe), but now the gig is up.
  8. define risk. what's your tolerance?
  9. the tide of stupidity is turning...but the stupid ones are doubling down
  10. Wonder how low his poll numbers were…
  11. vax passports need to phased out per Israeli expert https://unherd.com/thepost/israeli-vaccine-chief-we-have-made-mistakes/
  12. Just more outrage culture. We need to respond to people who are “offended” with a “so what? Deal with it”. Enough pandering to the weakest common denominator
  13. like the 270 "experts" and "doctors" who signed the letter about rogan. ha!
  14. Even mask zealots are admitting their failure.
  15. Masks are WAY less effective than 40%
  16. And tac airlifter should do everything he can to get a line number at a major airline asap…he can join a guard/reserve unit if he wants to retire
  17. Your PIC is well above average and you should expect calls from every major you apply to in todays hiring environment.
  18. WOW someone needs to re-do those CBTs son! That opinion is NOT allowed around here!
  19. And Pooter, yes it’s not beyond the realm of possibility that masking is harmful to people. Doesn’t take a fucking rocket scientist to figure that maybe kids need to see facial expressions. It’s definitely possible that masking is very harmful to peoples psyche.
  20. masking is not a small nuisance...it is very harmful to peoples psyche
  21. if this is all true slife needs to be fired (won't happen), but god damn if that comes out as true that is fucking ridiculous
  22. That certain three star is…interesting. I’ll keep it nice. also filing the EO complaint is a CLASSIC move. Seen it pulled a few times with malicious intent.
  23. Strange statement.
