My wing was about a 73% promotion rate IPZ we had 1 APZ make it only top two BPZ made it.

School in res is 99%+ promotion rate IMO

Were you even competitive for 2bpz? I too am 2bpz. Only 10% of BPZ got DPs. 1/3 of those are promoted on average, plus/minus

Most should have prior to the weekend in order to tell their folks. Nothing worse than having to wait the entire weekend to find out and not be able to celebrate or get over a let down over a long weekend

CY19 board schedule out biggest change I see is Lt Col board is now 3 months earlier. Board convenes in March vs June.

I'd say you are off base simply because you don't seem to know the backstory on duck. He has wanted out of the AF and found a way to make it happen. The AF didn't "get this right". They didn't cut ducks career shorter than he wanted. He's not jaded that they are dismissing him. It's what he wanted. It's his briar patch.

I do t think it matters. Whether they had a a continuation board or not.... they aren't going to go be sep pay to anyone likely, they selectively continued everyone without the need of a board. Blanket continuation for everyone. If they did not do that, then they are dumber than we all thoUght.

Dick will most likely be continued to 20 years as a captain with the option to take it or get processed after 6 months. No no way does the Air Force "force" him out with it not being his choice. If they did that, it's just like being RIFd or VSPd and they would owe him approx $100k

Sure all academy guys share the same DOR (approx 1,000 in each year group) until they pin on Major and are in DORs respective to their increments.

They do revert to last 4 if all else is equal.

Yes. Any APZ guys will pin on first All first month increment guys will still be in the same order for their Lt Col board if they make it. And so forth.
