Please don't talk about her...

Yes: AFSOC, MC-12, UAVs, or white jets. It doesn't matter if you were T-1s or T-38s, you might have to move on to one of the choices above. AFPC is doing what they can with this shit-sandwich, and not everyone can get what they want.

There is truth to this, Hueypilot and I are on the front lines of these shenanigans, and we are telling you exactly what we know. Right now I have 39 copilot students and 11 nav students that are already at LRF or will be here shortly, and those guys will have to find a new airframe. AFPC WILL MAKE THE DECISION OF WHO GOES WHERE. AFSOC, white jets, MC-12s & UAVs are where most of these guys will end up.

Did you just have a stroke?

Ok, here we go: 1. The 62 AS will most likely become the J model schoolhouse (longer lineage than the 48 AS), but that is up for the AF Historian to decide. 2. The 189 AW (154 TRS) will assume the LEGACY C-130 schoolhouse. 3. LEGACY C-130 guys are going to get the shaft. Manning at LEGACY locations is about maxed out, and there are not enough J-model transition courses. AFPC asked for more, but only got 6 for the year. If you want more info on the J-model schoolhouse, PM me. I have to go back to counting our troops and finding out their locations...

LockheedFix, those piece of crap H3s (I can say that, I flew them for 4 years) are supposed to go to Savannah ANG. No telling where Savannah's 80-model H2s will go. The AD is not doing Savannah any favors by giving them those planes, they're about wore out.

FIFY, but otherwise correct.

There are copilot & nav students that are here, and some on the way to LRF, that are being looked at to transfer to other airframes. Some (and I mean a VERY select few) may stay at LRF. AFPC has "shock absorbers" for those students: AFSOC, MC-12s, white jets, & UAVs. Don't expect much more info than that for a while, AFPC is a little busy at the moment.

This guy is a joke. Most of the reservists I work with openly laugh at the crap he sends out, the others have set up auto-delete rules for Outlook.
-
No, it doesn't...

Because the AD is going all J, the Reserves were chosen to take over the C-130H FTU (decision made summer 2010). They've been building up since 2011, and now that is changing. The 189 AW got political backing to take over the majority of FTU training because the C-130 instructor school is going all simulator. The Guard is supposed to get 75% of the FTU, while the Reserves get 25% & are combat coded. Lots of issues to be worked out still...

Rated vs. Non-rated officer (Benefits of rating and pros and cons)
Spinner replied to AFEAGLE09's topic in General Discussion
I used to be a non-rated officer. I went rated for a few reasons: opportunity to do something cool, ignore CGOC, and have a job that couldn't be outsourced to a civilian/contractor. -
AMIC is fun, field trip to the crash lab. IFSO makes you want to gouge your eyes out.
-
I have the 442, which is the exact same but blued. I use that as my CCW, and have had no problems with it. Not the most accurate due to the short barrel, but it'll get the job done. 5 rounds of .38+P weighs more than the gun itself...

Isn't that called "leadership"?

I know that O-6 you're referring to... Oh wait, you're talking about someone else...

No STS needed, it is actually crap that comes out of her mouth. -
