    Correct me if I'm wrong, but back seat in the legacy hornet contains either (1) mechanically linked (to the front seat) throttle and center stick or (2) night attack variant containing two hand controllers, one on each side (LH/RH side panel assemblies).

    I personally think it would be cool to meet foreign allied pilots. By the way, did you enjoy the 187th airmen? I'm super bummed I wasn't able to go meet them, as well as other guard applicants.

    Always wondered how the Guard and ENJJPT combined class worked... Do all guard fighters go through Sheppard, or is that just the luck of the draw?

    Well, that makes me feel A LOT better... Also makes sense as to why all the pilots are like "dude, you're good. Just apply".... I will say that I know of only 1 person who has hours in the 40's with a low 90's PCSM... I won't embarrass him by mentioning him by name, but he's a great guy and I wish him the best of luck.

    eh, could be worse... Most squadrons I've talked to have been like, "No big deal. Apply anyways."

    Took TBAS unprepared already... very stupid... Can't score in 90's without 101 hours... I'll retake.

    This is actually refreshing to hear... Pilot/Nav/AA/Verb/QI scored 99/92/95/77/99. After seeing the scores, I was like IDGAF because pilot is 99... but the verbal thing just caught me off guard because literally everything else was 90's...

    If you 100% without a doubt see yourself flying fighters and nothing else, here is the order in which I would attempt to become a fighter pilot: 1. Be a freaking "hard science" major if you still have the opportunity, 2. Apply to ANG/reserve fighter units, and finally... 3. If the age limit is closing in on you, go AD AF or USN/USMC and work your ever-loving tail off to track fighters... If you fail to get a fighter, but still pass UPT, thank the man above for letting you be a military pilot... the next 8-10 years of your life are probably going to be awesome.

    If you're already in college and want to fly... go ROTC (call them NOW)... If you're wanting to fly, but you are willing to decrease your chances of getting a slot sooner... finish up your degree without doing ROTC, then you can apply to guard (or reserve) units in the hopes of one of the units saying "Wow, this guy really fits in with us".... You're still going to have to go to basic/OTS/SERE/etc/etc... Basically, want a preview of the AF lifestyle now, and probably the quickest (not easiest) route to wings? Get on the phone with an ROTC recruiter ASAP....

    I always liked college football better... But yeah, you reap what you sow... I think disrespecting the national anthem is a poor way to bring everyone together. Definitely not the way I'd bring attention to a cause that mattered to me.

    I've never been so ashamed of my post before... Now I read it like "The top 1% of the top 1% gets to fly fighter jets... I want to make it so that EVERYBODY in UPT gets T-38's and goes straight into flying F-22s".... *end of Bernie impersonation*

    Obviously you feel invincible in a jet that can down 15 eagles before even being seen, but...Which is more fun to fly: The Raptor or the F-15C?
