    Dude I honestly don't think Kamala is going to let it get that far. I treated that as a conspiracy up until this video. But man.... Just watch his eyes while he is trying to speak. It's honestly heartbreaking. This dude needs to be living out a nice retirement surrounded by his family, he was pressured to serve one last time. Now it may take him to an early breaking point. I suppose this may raise the potential to start discussing an age maximum on presidency though.

    The two masks suggestion seems rather bizzarre. It's almost like "we have no idea what to do now so let's just make people do more of what they are already doing so they think we are doing something even though we aren't doing anything."

    Ok.... So you also agreed noone was condoning the violence in the capital and AOC over reacted to Ted Cruz then? You seem to view the capital riots as more dangerous because they were an assault on our democratic institution. Thats a matter of opinion though that you use to support your view point. I can argue the race riots were more dangerous because they had larger scale and often targeted police officers who are personified symbols of the rule of law. How many small business owners do you think were "uncomfortable" when molotovs went through their storefronts?

    I don't plan to take it and still plan to get out next year. Granted I wrote the airlines off a while ago. But COVID actually drove me out of the organization with more furry than before. Watching the total ineptness of leadership able to deal with this crises, and then just putting it back onto troops to suck it up and make it work, has made me realize no one in this organization has any interest in your or your family's well-being. Get out while you can.

    She's a very genuine human with a general lack of expereince in goverernment and politics. I've spoke on it before in other threads but that's what I like about her, but in general, she does possess a generally high degree of moral courage, usually.... The fact that she gets on twitch every week to speak to young people about politics shows she knees her constituency and her base really well. This instance was one exception. She could have taken a high road here but instead she went into her partisan egg shell.

    Well, I guess you have a problem with AOC supporting riots to murder cops this summer right? Remember when she said riots should make people feel uncomfortable? Or are we being disingenuous? I actually have a lot of respect for AOC but this was a missed oppurtunity for her. Nothing about her comment is bipartisan, it's actually quite polarizing. She should have taken the higher road on this one. Basically, she just jeapordized the chances of this movement to have meaningful change for the average person by risking politicizing the issue; because she can't get over her own political ego. Unsat.

    That's the thing, the people doing this know there will be losers. One Reddit or said it best. "I didn't risk $38 to possible make $500. I risked $38 to possibly cost a billionaire hedge fund $500,000." There are people trying to get a nice chunk of change off of this but there are far far many more that just want to stick it to the man, and causing a hedge fund to collapse is the most rewarding way of doing that.

    Yeah... I mean.... Republicans and Democrats are usually about big business. Thats not a one sided thing. Its just what sector of big business are they most interested in. Here's the thing though, a lot, and I mean, A LOT, of people in both parties trade in their spare time. I think there is going to be a pretty wide consensus to tell wallstreet to STFU up on this one.

    Well, CNN blames this whole thing on Trump, yet AOC and Elizabeth Warren are on the side of retail buyers so this whole event has flipped lots of people onto sides we never thought they would be on.

    Yes. Know one person that received an LOA for it. (However, there were surrounding circumstances as well. He didn't receive DTS authorizations prior to leaving and didn't have commander VOCO to go without one, 5 week TDY, didn't submit accruals, came back and bombed the squadrons finances at the end of the Fiscal Year.)
