  1. Anyone hear back from Oregon F15s about interviews yet?
  2. @Topper14 Does the 121 FS have an age limit for applying or will they consider applicant who would require an age waiver? Thanks!
  3. I just emailed them about it this week. They said they are still finalizing everything and will have more info early feb.
  4. From what I gathered out of the AFRC A3RB sharepoint is that now they are doing the TDART program which goes like this: OTS, IFS, UPT, IFF, B course, Land Survival, Water survival, then they give you ~140 days of orders (to get you PCS'd to the unit). After that they hire you on (overhire position) for 4 years as an ART. You start at a GS9 then hit GS11 after 300 hrs, and then GS13 after 1000 hrs. I'm not sure if they are counting all your flight hours or just mil. So the end result is you are full time for 6 years from the beginning of your formal training (OTS, UPT, IFS depending on where you start) but you get paid less than you would be if you were on orders... This program is voluntary according to the policy memo dated 1 dec 16. This seems to be an AFRC only thing. Not sure what the guard is doing. Details are on the A3RB sharepoint under 340 FTG link.
  5. The difference between being on orders and not is who pays for travel, lodging, etc. If you are on orders, the unit that issued the orders will pick up the tab plus pay you. If you are not on orders then its coming out of your own pocket and you may get reimbursed later on a travel voucher. BTW, do not book a hotel at WPAFB, they automatically put you on base if you have an appointment for an fc1.
  6. If a reserve unit already selected you, all they need to do is have their wing CC (NAF CC is you need waivers) to sign the AF215 and send your package to the AFRC HQ board. The only difference with going unsponsored is that you do not have that signature. So, I am not sure how that would push you thru quicker.
