  1. Come? Where the fuck have you been in the past few months? Are they legal cuts or illegal cuts? The current administration sure has been taking some losses in the courts for illegal firing, then rehiring, federal employees (which costs taxpayers even more money).
  2. Those beers just got more expensive with tariffs those dumbass slapped on Diego.
  3. It's called judicial review. Don't like it? Appeal. Don't like the law? Run for Congress.
  4. He did, and then a federal judge via due process said he could be deported, but not to where he's from. He was deported to where he's from, thus breaking a court order. An immigration judge gave him due process by a hearing to determine if he can be deported back to where he's from (he couldn't). The government doesn't get to break a court order just because they don't agree with something. It's called due process, so appeal if you don't like the ruling, but that also doesn't mean it's going to go your way. I don't think pilots care about the opinions of judges on how to fly aircraft; judges don't care about pilot's opinions of their judicial review of a case. Don't agree with that? Go to law school and take the bar. We don't live in a Kafkaesque society. Remember, they are "activist judges" when they don't rule in favor of your home team. Funny how you were pretty quiet when the judges were ruling against Biden's student loan forgiveness.
  5. I’m going to assume you didn’t read the article? “The filing stems from a lawsuit over the removal of Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia, a Salvadoran national who in 2019 was granted protected status by an immigration judge, prohibiting the federal government from sending him to El Salvador.”
  6. She went to grad school, this retard didn't.
  7. You mean the retard Gen Zer press secretary, whose qualifications is that she got creampied by her 59 year old husband, isn't doing a good enough job?
  8. It is delusional, which why Trump said this: “NBC News asked about a possible scenario in which Vice President JD Vance would run for office and then pass the role to Trump. Trump responded that “that’s one” method.” https://www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcna198752
  9. Who said he would do that? “No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once.” He’ll run as Vance’s VP, then once elected Vance will resign. Either way, it’ll wind up at the SCOTUS for an interpretation of the 22nd Amendment.
  10. Can't answer the question?
  11. If you would’ve done what they did with that type of information, would you’ve been punished either via UCMJ or having your clearance suspended or revoked? It’s a yes or no question.
  12. Absolutely nothing will happen.
  13. When his boss doesn’t admit to fucking up, don’t expect him to do either.
  14. As a former contractor who worked on contract proposals on the KC-46 and now GS, this is 100% accurate. It also doesn't help going through 6-9 SPOs per year due to GS's bouncing around to other jobs to get promoted.
  15. Base security manager just sent out this email: “To confirm, Signal is not approved for CUI, OPSEC, or classified and would never be approved because it is not government owned or operated.”
  16. How is someone considered legal or illegal, immigration-wise, if the someone isn't afforded due process to determine their status? You would agree that they weren't afforded due process, correct? https://constitution.congress.gov/browse/essay/artI-S8-C18-8-7-2/ALDE_00001262/
  17. The MRTT (A330 tanker) carries eight 463L pallets (four in the bottom aft lobe and four in the bottom forward lobe). It also doesn't carry ISU-80/90s due to the height restrictions in the lower cargo lobes. The KC-46 carries 10 463L pallets centerline, 18 463L pallets side-by-side, has aero medevac litters in all jets, etc. The USAF isn't buying tankers just to refuel like the KC-135 originally was built for.
  18. SWA to end two free checked bags, Wanna Get-Away fares, Wanna Get-Away fares, non-expiring flight credits, and changes for basic fares. Private equity strikes again. Today we announced updates to some of our policies and benefits within our fare bundles. Sharing them with you is important to us, as we’re working to offer you more choices to create travel experiences that fit your needs. Updates to Checked Baggage Policy We will offer two free checked bags to Rapid Rewards® A-List Preferred Members and Customers traveling on Business Select fares. We will also offer one free checked bag to A-List Members and other select Customers. In addition, Southwest will credit one checked bag for Rapid Rewards Credit Cardmembers. All remaining Customers will pay to check their first and second bags, and we will continue to charge for the third and fourth checked bags. Changes will apply to flights booked on or after May 28. Updates to Our Fare Bundles We're updating the benefits of our fares bundles in phases. Whether you’re looking for a lower price with fewer perks, or more benefits for added flexibility, you’ll have the choice to pick what works best for your trip. Phase 1: Beginning this month, we increased our Rapid Rewards earn ratio on our Business Select fares and lowered the earn ratio on our Wanna Get Away® and Wanna Get Away Plus™ fares. We will also begin to vary our redemption rates across our fare products on some high- and low-demand travel periods. Phase 2: Beginning May 28, we will introduce a new Basic fare. This new Basic fare will be our lowest price point and will have less flexibility than other fares. Additionally, we will be adding expiration dates to our Flight Credits, which will vary based on which fare you choose to purchase. The chart below gives you a full picture of the revised fare products as of May 28, 2025, ranging from most flexible to value-first. We recognize these changes may be a disappointment to some, but know we’re committed to building a Southwest that will continue to offer you low fares, convenient flights to destinations you want, and a travel experience that is rewarding. You can count on the Heart of Southwest, our People, to guide you through the changes and welcome you on your next journey with their friendly, award-winning Customer Service.
  19. "We," says the major airline pilot. Yes, I'm sure you can. Unfortunately, most middle- to lower-middle-class people cannot.
  20. Cool man, I was married to a pilot when I was enlisted and flew when I registered here eons ago. I didn't make a claim, I responded to your response to someone else with a link from the agency about data concerning the PACT Act. You then responded with a ridiculous follow-on question asking data you know no one but the VA would have. No one cares about your skeptical conjecture. Feel free to post your CV for grading, though. I didn't know Spirit counted as a legacy...
  21. Why would I provide the data? I literally sent you a link to the VA discussing the increase in medical care and claims associated with the PACT Act. Were you a veteran in 2019 using the VA? I was and the claims and healthcare (VBA and VHA) have ran much smoother than prior to 2020. Do you always argue in bad faith? I’m not the first to notice that trend of yours on this forum.
  22. https://news.va.gov/press-room/in-two-years-of-the-pact-act-va-has-delivered-benefits-and-health-care-to-millions-of-toxic-exposed-veterans-and-their-survivor/
  23. This is 100% spot on. It doesn't matter what people write, they're just going to fire you (right after they upload the data you sent them). Any federal employee's performance is irrelevant unless you're an "easy kill" by being on a performance improvement plan.
  24. Performance data, at least in my slice of the DoD, is sent up through the channels weekly. "Pule checks," most likely don't need to happen weekly, which is the current guidance from the SECDEF. There's something more nefarious than that. As someone who signs timecards as a supervisor, I can promise that there are no "dead people" collecting paychecks in the DoD. If any employees' timecard is even remotely late by a day, my timekeeper is bitching at me to ensure it gets filled out, filled out, signed, and certified. My masters is in cybersecurity with a focus on AI/ML. I know what Elon is doing. He's been granted unfettered access to gobs of government data he can force feed into his Grok 3.0 AI. He's using the responses for Grok for it to conduct learning and validating with the data it's given and eventually create org charts of the entire government agencies. If people are using canned bullets and just swapping out the data points because they do the same job as multiple people, Grok could eventually recommend terminating positions it feels are "redundant." I'm willing to bet within 5-10 years Elon is going to somehow have a government-compatible AI to use for all governmental agencies, to include classified information compatibility. Why? Because privatization of the federal government is what the Trump Administration wants. Elon also wants to dismantle all the government agencies that give his companies grief, which is being pretty successful doing. "Create the venom to sell the antidote." I sent my five bullets in yesterday. I also encrypted my response. I received a curious response that the receiver of the email couldn't decrypt my email. Sounds like a problem for them.
