  1. Or be a douchebag. But if you’re a female GO douchebag, you’re semi-forgiven.
  2. My bad, I meant Generation Z.
  3. There are Chiefs and FGO’s, and have been at their current grade for a few years, who are millennials. In fact, the first millennials are set to be eligible retire from the service starting next year. The triggered about everything and report everything they don’t agree with are more of a Xennial (generation after millennial) tactic.
  4. Didn’t know Eagle drivers were cross following to Vipers?
  5. Apparently the Navy is investigating this “issue.” I guess I don’t know what for? The patches were most likely procured via personal funds and weren’t displaying support for any political party while in uniform. Seems to me some folks are using this as confirmation bias just solely based on the fact they don’t like the POTUS and they’re trying to shoe horn alleged misconduct towards support of the POTUS.
  6. The Air Force always does that. However, if fully acquitted they don’t release your name.
  7. That came out years ago.
  8. So you’re a DO of a non-flying TRS in AETC?
  9. I mean, they do have to listen because of his rank. Do they have to respect him personally? No. He also assumes responsibility when the E’s follow his orders and in the end it was a piss poor decision. The only way that doesn’t happen is if he’s a HPO and “forgiven” by senior commanders, which subsequently gets him promoted.
  10. You do have to stab people in the back when you're charge and people under you threaten to damage your future promotions and career. Reference the fired commanders thread.
  11. About?
  12. Yeah, tens of people love Eielson.
  13. I found teaching in AETC while at the -135 FTU more enjoyable than I ever did my three previous assignments in AMC.
  14. If you have an opportunity to do either airlift or refueling in a MAJCOM that isn't AMC, you should seize that opportunity and stay there as long as you can.
  15. So forced to retire at a grade most officer never see? Rough.
  16. It’s been six years today. You are still missed 🇺🇸 TTT
  17. I work with a guy who’s father was killed because he was an interpreter for the Army in Afghanistan (from Kabul). He got an expedited temporary visa because the Taliban found out he was working for the Army and started calling his house and found his work number and threatening to kill him, his wife, and kid. Obviously if it’s not for nefarious reasons, I don’t blame those that defected knowing they could lose their lives for just interacting or being trained by Americans. He’s taking his citizenship test laster this year, just had another kid, and bought his first house. If there is someone that loves being in America, it’s him. Sometimes we just don’t realize how good we have it to be naturally born Americans. It takes hearing stories like that to make us realize that despite the internal turmoil that this country has, it’s still the greatest one on the planet.
  18. Sq/CC there is awesome.
  19. She is married with two kids.
  20. First open lesbian GO in the USAF who was one of the first women to fly the B-2 removed? Either failed a PT test or killed someone.
  21. The reason why GO’s gets caught with IG stuff is because by law they have to be investigated by the Service Secretary IG/DOD IG. It’s no so easily swept under the rug by a Wing/NAF/MAJCOM IG.
  22. No court martial or kicked out cause of it? Weird.
  23. There’s different burden’s of proof. When you file a VA claim, it’s “more likely than not” burden. In criminal law, it’s the highest (for good reason), “beyond a reasonable doubt.” Even if the House could drum up 2/3rds majority to impeach him, it’ll never be approved in a Republican controlled Senate. So the issue would be moot. Even trying is just vying for optics from their base for election season. The Mueller Report literally says that it doesn’t show that criminal conduct either happened, nor does it exonerate him from any criminal conduct. It’s the equivalent of a hung jury. Remember, it’s beyond a reasonable doubt. However, the Mueller Report also says it adheres to a DOJ policy (not a law, a policy) that states they will not charge a sitting President with criminal charges (states will since they’re a different sovereignty). So, even if the Mueller Report would’ve said that Trump committed obstruction of justice beyond a reasonable doubt, he wasn’t going to get charged anyway by the Feds, since it would’ve gone against the DOJ policy. It would’ve just been dumped off on Congress to do something, if anything. There’s been talk about how “there wasn’t any crime, so you can’t have obstruction of justice.” Which, isn’t quite true per the Federal definition of it. There was a proceeding pending before a department or agency of the United States. The defendant knew of or had a reasonably founded belief that the proceeding was pending. The defendant corruptly endeavored to influence, obstruct, or impede the due and proper administration of the law under which the proceeding was pending. Martha Stewart was charged, and convicted of obstruction of justice inter alia , even after the major charge of securities fraud was dismissed. But like I said, even if Mueller had found that he obstructed justice beyond a reasonable doubt, the only option is to turn it over to Congress for possible impeachment. Nixon would’ve most likely never been in the position to resign had he not been stupid enough to record himself talking obstructing justice via the “Smoking Gun Tape” by ordering the FBI to not investigate the Watergate break in. Based on the diluted Democratic nominees, all 400+ running, Trump will most likely win re-election.
