    You also have to figure a cost/benefit analysis on driving an hour to the middle of nowhere just to pull a prank on some LTs. Sure, they can make a huge plan into denied airspace, but there is usually a good reason.

    Apparently the same treatment is happening to get them through the Pred FTU, like with the Beta guys, for quantity over quality. So now you have pred pilots who think they can just slide through. I quote, "What are they going to do, kick me out? They can't because they need too many Pred pilots." Certainly not all of them think this, but no one should.

As has been mentioned in other discussions, no one is entitled to a nice location, but it would be cool.

    Does the different engine in the AT-6 alleviate the problem that has been plaguing the T-6 engines? Also, the T-6, if I remember correctly, is limited to improved hard surface runways, which doesn’t lend itself to COIN and forward deployed operations with foreign nations. Does the AT-6 have different runway limitations?
